2/13/2018 I have had a broken heater for over 40 days. The argued the price was high because of cold weather and did not want to send a tech. Finally sent a tech to confirm our heater is broken. Im now going on two weeks with bo heater at all. 50 degrees inside my house with nights dipping below freezing outside its been as cold as 48 degrees in my. I have a small child and we have to all sleep in the same bed to stay warm affecting our sleep and now our jobs. Im miserable every day in my own home with zero heat and told by the management company not to use space heaters. Im paying for a home that is almost unlivable. I will be going to the court house tomorrow. These atrocities will not go unpunished. After speaking with Brenda, I was given the run around. I stated I would go to small claims court and she lost her cool. She yelled became unprofessional and hung up on me. This is the second time she has acted this way. She yelled at my wife when my wife had called and Brenda was late for an inspection. Brenda was broken down and then proceeded to yell at my wife and lose her cool. The owner apologized and agreed her demeanor was unprofessional. This woman needs to be fired. This company needs to go under.
I've been a tenant over 7 years and can't ever imagine doing business with any other real estate company. The entire staff including leasing, inspection, maintenance and property management departments are extremely professional, courteous, amicable and considerate. Cynthia Dewalder is a breath of fresh air in leasing. Robert Swain is a down-to-earth, thorough impeccable inspector. I remember the first huge maintenance call like it was yesterday. Jason and Mike were with the company back then before the company had online capabilities for tenants to use. Yes people, we called and walked in to fill out work orders. My plumbing issue was taken care of faster than one could say supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. That same maintenance service still stands true today. Fast, professional and efficient. And Gillian Kellum is a dynamite, no nonsense and respectable property manager. These warm, understanding individuals make my family feel at home with their company. And the new dream home Cynthia helped me and my sister find is far beyond what we originally searched for. Thank you Homeowners for being a company that makes dreams a reality for my family. BEWARE, Boxwell Reality is terrible. They had listed our house incorrectly on MLS, were unwilling to correct errors and were not proactive whatsoever in getting the property rented. They gave us a list of very outdated "comparable" rentals in the community. They have no procedure in place to re-evaluate listing descriptions/asking price after x amount of time on the market, they were not willing to make connections with local reality agents to aid in property visibility. (Typically agents of our gated community will be paid a finders-fee from Boxwell if they find renters, but the agents didn't even know it was on the market because of incorrect listings.) Agents in Anderson Creek Club agreed with their sloppy style. We got rid of this company and after two days on the market, we had it rented...Also, they charge a standard 10% montly fee, but other companies will charge you 8% over $1,500/month. In the future, I will do my research before settling. Overall, horrible experience with Boxwell. Will never utilize or recommend their services in the future.
They put a new roof on my home several years ago and I could not be more pleased!!! Will definitely be calling them again when needed.
So far, my experience has been horrible from the start. I paid rent and deposit to move in to a home at the beginning of the year, just to find out the home wasn't move in ready. There have been on going issues since I've been attempting to move in. There are electrical wires handing from outlet and wall. I was told by the property manager that I could "cut them myself," "they didn't seem to be live wires". I put in a work order, it still has not been done. I'm expected to move into a home that may be unsafe. The heat stopped working, I called to put in a work order. I was questioned by the property manager, as if I was wrong. The heat has finally been fixed, thank God. I came to the office to speak with someone in person. My issues were discussed amongst the general public. Staff were rude and unprofessional. I don't understand how this company manages to continue with business.
Mr. Boxwell and Boxwell Realty took over as the company looking after our HoA while it was forming. He wanted to charge us 800 a month to do absolutely nothing. Then when questions started coming in he began to dodge phone calls from home owners and even had his secretary lying about what was going to to help with the call dodging. When it formed my HoA decided to fire him from it. From the time he was fired to the time we checked the HoA bank account. He had decided to drain it and leave us with 85 cents. It definitely isnt worth it to take legal action. So we have decided to shed light on him and his business so that this type of thing does not happen again.

I have dealt with many Property Management companies in my line of work and none of them have come close to being as terrible as this company is and I’m having to deal with on a personal level. We moved into our home in October 2016 and they have yet to complete the items from that request. (Some of them aren’t directly affecting us but are more for the actual homeowner if they ever plan to sell - such as sinking/damaged flooring, missing shingles, some water damage, etc.) They has someone come out again this October but nothing has been done to help with the plumbing issues we are currently having. (And this if after 3 more requests from the first week of October this year.)

Katina was wonderful in assisting me and even thought they did not have what I was looking for she help to get me connected to someone at another company who could provide me with a home that would accommodate my family.
