My family of four visited this establishment 1/1/2017. Three of us were in need of glasses, they were selected ordered and paid for in that date. One pair would be ready for pick up the following day and the other two would be in within 10 days, mine would be in the store and my daughters would be delivered to her address within 10 days.On the 13th day I stopped by the store and told that due to the "WINTER STORM and Holiday" they were running behind my lenses were in but my glasses wouldn't be ready until the 16th, my daughters hadn't been delivered but as soon as they received them they would ship them to her (what happened to ship direct to her address?)On the 16th I picked up my glasses and was told that my daughters glasses had arrived and were going to be shipped overnight via UPS to be delivered on Wednesday 1/18, The shipment did not arrive at my daughters address on 1/18, someone from the store contacted my daughter, gave her an airbill number and told her she would receive them within 10 days. I contacted the store and I was assured that the glasses had shipped on 1/17 and was provided the same airbill number as my daughter had been given earlier. I ran the airbill number through the UPS tracker and it wasn't recognized.On 1/19 I stopped by the store and again was ensured that the glasses had been shipped, I asked for a copy of the airbill so I could go to UPS. When I looked at the airbill I asked what the date that the package was shipped, the response was 1/9 (get a clue) the actual ship date was 1/19, that's right, they had just shipped them today. I suggest buying your glasses at Wal-Mart!
The employees were professional and polite and the doctor was great. They made sure we had the glasses we wanted and made helpful suggestions.
I would not recommend going here to get your glasses. The service was terrible my appointment was at 1 pm and the doctor didn't even show up for work till after 2. All the employees were stressed and could not get him on the phone to find out where he was or why he was late. When he finally did show up he was very unprofessional. He said my glasses would be ready in 2 to 4 weeks. This was dec 2nd 2014. I called every week after that time and they kept telling me 2 more weeks. Then today finally on jan 30th 2015, I get a phone call And they inform me that they never even ordered my glasses because the doctor had written my insurance information down wrong. So now I'll be waiting another 2 to 4 weeks. I'll never go back there again after I finally get my glasses!
I would give this place a zero if I could. This place is horrible! Not only do they have rude and just plain mean customer service, they also do not make quality glasses. Went there to get glasses. The first pair were became so loose that they would fall off when bending over. This happened within three weeks of getting the glasses. After going there twice to get them fixed we found out that there was only one screw in one of the arms where there is supposed to be two. One of the managers "created" a screw by clipping a screw from a kit and making it fit. After a week we were back because the same problem was happening, because they were not actually fixed. They would have given us new frames but the style we just got a few weeks ago was no longer being sold by Visionworks. A different manager allowed us to choose a new pair of glasses in the same price range that we paid for the first frames. When we picked up the replacement pair the tech who makes sure that they fit right had the lens pop out in his hand and needed to pop it back in. Needless to say that a few weeks later the lens kept popping out and getting scratched. It is only one lens, therefore it is a defect in the glasses/lens. We have gone back several times to complain and get the lens set properly, but the lens keeps popping out after being "fixed". On the last and final attempt to get the lens problem fixed the manager informed us that we can't do anything else for you after we replace the lens. Her last words about it were you are on your own since you didn't buy a warranty......I guess she failed to remember that there has been a problem with the glasses since we first bought them. Bottom line. DON'T BUY YOUR GLASSES HERE! They are RUDE, MEAN and DON'T STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT.
