Hudson & Barber

Have always gone above and beyond. I had a crown that was temporary that another dentist put on. Was scheduled to go out of town on a flight. Dr. Barber came in and helped me when the prior dentist did not. They have been my dentist since and have always been kind and professional.

My friend referred me to this office to have an extraction on a molar that broke. Had an x-ray with a very professional and nice lady. The dentist came in, sat behind me, never gave his name but mumbled something, to which I said I was sorry but could not understand him, then he moved parallel to me and said the tooth was touching the sinus, that this could be a problem, that I should go to a hospital and he did not feel comfortable pulling the tooth as there might be complications.

Went out to the waiting room to tell my friend “this was a waste of time and money” then proceeded to the receptionist in order to pay. Well, another rude person. She voiced her opinion, which I had not asked for. She said: “I resent you saying this was a waste of time and money”. I answered that “to me this was a waste. Paid the bill, which I should have only paid for the x-ray as that was all I got, and left.

Went to another dentist. What a difference! He came in, smiling, introduced himself and shook my hand. His assistant was also very nice. He extracted the molar, which was broken in three parts. I asked if this molar was touching the sinus and he said: “this tooth has nothing to do with your sinus”.

So, in my opinion, not only was the first dentist incompetent but also a liar.
Wish I had asked the receptionist for his name but who would have after her rudeness. He is the short one with the sour face.

I very rarely rate anything (and when I do it is usually because they are not that great!) Since my wonderful dentist Dr. Sale retired I have been to two different dentist in Fayetteville (walked out of one) and then I was lucky enough to find Dr. Hudson and Dr. Barber - this is the place you need to go - great staff and everybody professional and happy! Thumbs up for this wonderful dentist office and their employees.
