Don't understand the negative reviews; I'm a very frequent shopper and the experience is always good. These folks have made it fun and easy to keep my special friend happy with flowers and small gifts. I'll be shopping here again soon.

Overall

It was my girlfriends 22nd birthday this past Saturday. I've never really had any experience with buying flowers. So I went to Google and typed in Fayetteville Florist and the first link that popped up was Northwest Arkansas Florist. I called NWA Florist and ordered the "Love and Laughter" flowers that I saw online. The flowers that I had ordered looked very beautiful and full online. I was just going to get the regular arrangement but the lady I talked to on the phone informed me that it was just a one sided arrangement. When she told me that I then asked to have the deluxe arrangement instead for about 60 dollars.

Also my girlfriends grandmother passed away right before her birthday and she had to go back home for the funeral, which was on her birthday. So my plan was to pick up the flowers on Saturday and sneak them into her room to have waiting for her when she got back Sunday afternoon.

I went to NWA Florist on Saturday to pick up the flowers I had ordered and when I got there the arrangement that I had ordered looked nothing like the one that I had seen on their website. The first thing I noticed was the arrangement was about half the size of the one shown online. The next thing I noticed was the cheap, small, plastic vase that was holding the flowers. Finally the last thing I noticed where the half dead flowers placed throughout the arrangement. Keep in mind I wanted something bigger than the normal arrangement so i payed more for the deluxe.

When I saw the arrangement I looked at the lady that was working that day and asked, "Are you sure this is the arrangement I ordered?" she then said, "yes that it," in a very unsympathetic tone. I then proceeded to pull out my phone which had the picture from their website with the flowers I supposedly had ordered. After I showed her the picture she then told me, "The pictures on the internet can be deceiving sometimes."

As I left their shop the first thing that popped into my mind was "There is no way I can give these flowers to my girl friend for her birthday on the same weekend her grandmother had passed away."

I then faced a predicament. Give her the poorly created arrangement or go spend more money at another florist. Well it was about 3 o'clock when I went to go pick them up and most Florist close at 1 on Saturday and almost all Florist are closed on Sunday. After much scrambling and calling around town I found a lady that was willing to let me come to her shop so she could make another arrangement for me.

The florist that was willing to help me, even after store hours, was called Flora. The lady that helped me was very sympathetic to my situation and arranged a very beautiful arrangement for my girlfriend. Her shop is located at 7 E. Mountain Street, right off the square and their website is http://floranwa.com/

For this being my first time buying flowers I can say that if you want a very sub par arrangement that looks nothing like what they present on their website then go to Northwest Arkansas Florist. If you want a very beautiful arrangement of custom flower arrangements then go to Flora, you wont be disappointed.

If you're looking for a profes...

If you're looking for a professional florist, this is NOT the place for you. This shop happily took my $120 for a (supposedly) Premium arrangement and, in turn, delivered a tiny floral arrangement to my wife... LATE. So late, in fact, that it had to be delivered to an alternate location. On top of that, the flowers died two days later. This is, hands down, the worst experience of my life with a florist. All attempts to contact the manager were unsuccessful. I would NEVER recommend this shop to anyone!!!

eh

I have used them 3 different times and I continue to get arrangements with flowers that look like I bought from walmart. Last visit the lady was very short with me and never broke a smile. Almost seemed like I was an inconvienence to her.

I was married Oct. 6 of this ...

I was married Oct. 6 of this year. These ladies were my florists and provided my bouquet, boutineers, and the floral arrangements for the 12 foot doors of the church. I brought a picture for my bouquet which they made exactly like the picture. The arrangements were gorgeous and I received so many compliments on them. The people who run the private chapel asked if they could take pictures for their website since the flowers really showed off the chapels features. Loved, Loved, Loved the flowers and would recommend them to everyone.

Beautiful Flowers!

I found out late that a friend of the family had died and needed flowers sent as soon as possible. I called another shop and they said it wasn't possible to get them out on time. I then called Northwest Arkansas Florist and they patiently discussed the possiblities of what to send, took my order and delivered it before the visitation began. The flowers were beautiful.
