Absolutely the most unprofessional people ever. The montecito springs apartment " manager" has no regard for any of the tenants wellbeing or safety. She is absolutely incompetent. I have never been treated in such a manner by a landlord in my life. #renterbeware
I cannot stress enough how important it is to stay away from this company. I wish I would have read the reviews before ever renting from them. If you do make the terrible mistake of renting from them, here are a few things you need to be aware of. 1. Reading your lease agreement and abiding by it 100% does not matter (especially when you move out). You will not get your deposit back. That can be from a few ways. There might be a months rent you owe once they magically roll you over to a month-to-month that you never knew existed after your lease expires, or you might have to pay an outrageous cost to make your house move in ready (I personally was charged for 9 volt batteries amongst other crazy things). Either way, by security deposit and hello another months worth of rent. 2. The people you deal with in the front office are terrible. I'm sure they deal with a lot of craziness in a day's time. I'm a pharmacist. I know how that is. However, I would never treat a customer the way I was talked to/treated. One person in particular, Brandie, will talk down to you and will not help you in any way. Do not email her if you expect a response in the next month or so. Do not expect a call back if someone else you talk to tells you they will have her call you back. It's like a nurse telling you they will have a doctor call you back about the messed up prescription they just wrote for a patient. 3. Do not expect to reason with them on anything. What they say is what will happen. Even if you show them the lease agreement clearly says something else, it will not matter. If you are a lawyer, or know a good one, by all means, go at it. But in the lease, it clearly states that attorney and court costs will be supplied by you, the tennant.I hope this review saves someone in the future from making a terrible mistake. Also, I apologize to those who hate reading long reviews, but trust me, reading the rental agreement will be a lot worse.
Lived there for 2 years had any issues they were handled in a timely manner and we would rent from them again.
Gave them my 30 day notice moved out on date I said I would and now giving me the runaround on my deposit and trying to charge us a full month of rent.
Jerry Allred is not a nice person. While I was in the process of moving out he went into my apartment without any notice at all, and viciously destroyed all of of our remaining belongings. He informed me that there was absolutely nothing I could do about it. He didn't just throw it away. He deliberately destroyed everything he possibly could.
Worse place to go to!!!! This is a non proffessional business. All that stuff on Thier website is a lie. Look how they treat and talk and handle Thier business. Pitiful
Horrible customer service, don't treat you well. Terrible at explaining and rude. Tried to get my securit deposit back before i even moved in, told me no and that if I didn't move in that day I would lose it. But they would give me my pet deposit back. Not sure if that's legal since it was not a holding fee, nor did I sign any lease agreement. This place should be put out of business! Didn't take these reviews seriously until I experienced it. Don't go the same route as I did. Just don't want what happened to me to happen again.
This is the WORST company out of all businesses in Northwest Arkansas. STAY AWAY!!! Do you homework and read all of the reviews everywhere. Dishonest, cheating, lying, slumlords who never follow through or call back. They do just enough to sell the spot, then you're on your own. Also important to note that there were thousands of cockroaches in my apartment the entire time I rented and I spent hundreds of my own money because they would never do anything about it. I couldn't even host. So emberassing for them, or you would think, but nope, their pride blinds them from the cockroaches climbing out of the baseboards.
I also am a current renter of Scott's he has always been very helpful in any situation that comes up with my property. I have never had any problems with him being dishonest. He works with people the best that be can. I do not know what the other people Re referring to but I would recommend Scott Barton to any one looking for a nice place to rent or wonderful management of your rental property..
