I was extremely disappointed with your delivery service and follow up action. First the item was moved off the truck and set in wet soil, then entering my residents without wiping there feet, it was raining. Upon showing the location and the possible need to change the door configuration, he proceeded to the truck to get the item. The item was moved through two doors then the kitchen door which did not open the extra inch. They decided to removed my door, and moving the item they damaged the sides and my door hinge finish. Your installation instructions clearly state on page 13 if a narrow opening is encountered the doors of the item will be removed as the recommended procedure. Not my home doors! Then after placing the item and removing some of the plastic material and tape they stated. "Were in a hurry, only allow so much time you'll have to call this 1-400? number to get the door changed." We called the number complained and requested the door be changed. Now were two more days without use which is the earliest installation date.To note: I was notified at time of purchase that any door changing or leveling would be handled by the delivery personnel. And provide 7 days for delivery arrangements. .
Bought a water heater from Lowe's because mine was leaking on a Saturday morning, I paid for heater, installation kit, and installation. Was told that an installer would contact me in two days. Did not hear from installer until Tuesday. Turns out, Lowe's has a contract with Putney Mechanical for plumbing and they are closed on weekends. Contract said I should hear something Sunday or Monday. When I said I wanted a shut off valve placed on the unit, I was told it would be an extra $30. I would think a shut off valve should be standard for an installation.
