On Sunday I purchased a John Deere garden tractor/riding mower from Lowe's. Delivery was scheduled for today (Thursday). The implement was never delivered because someone showed up earlier in the week, presented a duplicate receipt for the machine we purchased, loaded it up and took it. The original receipt has been in my possession all week. Lowe's employees are basically just shrugging their shoulders saying there's nothing they can do about it. Apparently there's a criminal ring operating within the Farmington Lowe's store, involving employees and likely management. How else was the duplicate receipt printed out if not by Lowe's staff? We've filed a police report and the incident is being pursued as a criminal matter. My advice: Don't do business with Lowe's.
This store is way overpriced. Their blades are all dull. For example, I bought a middle ages knights dagger there. it costed 40 dollars and the blade was literally flat. I figured I would just sharpen it. While I was at home, I went onto BUDK.com. which is an amazing knife store. I found the same knife for 10 dollars. I watched a video about it and it was very sharp. Use BUDK. Don't use Mild to Wild.
