Old food, bad service, less selection, prices are expensive compared to some other Indian grocery stores close by.
I went for eyebrow threading and It was the worst experience I had. The lady didn't know what she was doing. She not only cut my skin in the process but she did the opposite of what I told her to do. It seemed like she was in training and used me as the victim. When I asked her why she made my eyebrows very thin even after I specifically told her several times to keep them thick, her response was that she thought I wanted them thin. I was speechless. I was left with cuts on my skin, bleeding and in pain.I came to realize that going to this salon, chances are you might get a person who is good at threading or you might not. It's 50/50 because they are paid on cash basis and are short term employed.
Wonderful experience! Sean is just great and is not afraid to tell you when you're choosing something g that's not going to work. I went to her several times and always had a wonderful experience. His coloring suggestions are also great :
I have been going to savaya for over a year now. Great space, wonderful people. It has taken over 15 years to find a professional I trust. Finally found him, props to Sean savaya. If you want amazing, visit savaya, soon!!!!
The lady across the counter is completely crazy.Extremely bad attitude,Very very rude ,always on phone , worst service by her is a complete understatement. She refused to give me 4 samosas saying that's all she had left and didn't let me buy any..Like what?! If they don't want people to buy stuff they shouldn't have opened a store at the first place..Craziness is the word for the dumb lady there.
I've spent a lot of money over the years on hair stylists that charge $100 dollars . for what the haircut &style I was paying in CA. Oh,i'm visit Savaya Salon At Michigan first time and I said with my self let me try do my hair here Sean did my haircut & highlights & style and was cut hair in the direction it lies, rather than straight across. and was worth every penny. he showed me techniques I'd never thought of before or had seen. I've never had the kind of compliments on my hair that I've had since getting from Sean and I pay just $110 for all this Michigan... I love you . Sean you the best thank you so much i love it

This store sells food that are more than a month past the "use by" date. When my wife and I returned this the next day 12/24/2014 and asked why such food a re sold the cashier lady blamed the mexican guy who works. She said "He don't know to read the labels" I said that is management issue as a customer I should not affected by this". She said "What do you want, I am paying back the money and asked sorry(which she didn't). You should have checked the date". When I said I will write BBB she said "I am busy right now". When I understood I can't get any better response than this I came back and wrote complaint to BBB.
Most Indian groceries sell snacks like samosa.I asked for a samosa and the service man across the counter handed me a burnt day old samosa in a paper cover.. its embarrassing how such Indian groceries exist in the USA when they don't deliver quality in their service/ products. Its PENNY WISE POUND FOOLISH attitude. Refrain from buying a samosa from there.!!!!
