Think twice prior to boarding your dog here. I wish I would have read the reviews. First time i boarded my dog here she came back with kennel cough, i can handle that. Second time she was boarded she came back with a gastrointestinal infectiom, had to stay the night in the hospital and i had a $500 vet bill. The daughter of the owner who claimed to be a manager is argumentative, and changes her stories. I found out that the dogs are left with toys and treats unsupervised over night in their kennels and nobody the next morning knows which dogs should still have those toys in their cage the next day. If i ever board my dog again, i would never choose Canine College.
Thank goodness for this place! We are gone 9 - 10 hours a day, and our 2 young Westies tend to get into trouble if left on their own for very long. Confining them to a crate for that long is unthinkable. After a day here, they come home well exercised, socialized and very tired. The staff treats them like their own, even making sure they have little jackets on when it is very cold. I tell all my friends about them!
This is the best place to take you families best friend. We have used them for 2 years now and they are nothing short of amazing. Our dog has a tendency to make us crazy, no matter how much we exercise him he is always full of energy and needs to be playing, the days he goes to "school" he is so pleasant to be around and has expended all of his energy. We have used them for boarding too and he always comes home a clean and happy puppy, great place!!!
Our Labradoodle gets the attention and play time she needs while were working plus the grooming department did a fantastic job on her hair, nails & ears it's so convenient that they can do this when I drop her off for day care. They have a friendly staff that really cares about the dogs as much as you care for your own. I feel confident she's in good hands when I drop her off.
Absolutely love this doggie daycare/boarding facility! Our "son" Kodiak loves it here. He feels right at home and adores the coaching staff. The owner is an awesome lady who ensures her staff treats all the dogs as their own! Won't take Kodiak any other place.

I recently boarded my 14 year old poodle mix over spring break. I was very nervous about boarding him. He is older and requires several medications. Canine College's staff allowed me to tour the faciltiy and see the room where my dog would be boarding. I was impressed with the cleanlinest of the building and the organization of the kitchen. My little guy requires insulin injections and Canine College adminstered these for no extra fee. They allowed me to check in on my little guy anytime night or day. They even emailed me pics of him so I wouldn't worry. I loved the remote webcam. I could see my little guy in the wee hours resting comfortably.
My dogs LOVE this dog daycare facility! They love the coaches in the field just as much. I can watch my dogs on their web cam anytime of day, or go on in and watch them from their balcony in the back. The staff are always so nice and welcoming, we just LOVE this place.
Original May 2nd 2011 review that I posted:
I would never board my pets here again. I boarded my two dogs at Canine College over the Easter Holiday & both came home very sick (vomiting, severe diarrhea) & dehydrated, requiring a visit to the vet. Both my dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations and have been extremely healthy up until this point. When I picked up my dogs, one smelled very heavily of urine & upon inspecting my dog's fur I noticed that her coat was completely soiled with urine. The urine was dry & stale so my poor dog must have been in this shape for quite a while before being picked up. Given the severe illness my dogs picked up & the heavy urine smell of their coats, I seriously question both the sanitation standards & level of care pets receive from Canine College. My advice is to seriously consider finding an alternative business to board/care for your animals.
May 6th 2011 response to comments Deb Watkins (owner, Canine College) has posted to several outlets:
Thank you for taking time to respond back to my comments. While I understand that the stresses of being kenneled may cause some animals to exhibit illness such as short term vomiting & diarrhea; this simply was not the extent of the illness my dogs came home with after a stay at your kennel. Both Hogan & Lucy started to show physical signs of illness within a couple of days of coming home from the kennel & this lasted several days from that point on, including the entire weekend. These symptoms included vomiting, diarrhea, coughing and sneezing for several days straight. In fact, it's been over a week & a half since I picked up my pets & Hogan is still coughing & sneezing. This simply is not consistent with your theory of stressed out dogs traumatized by their first stay at your kennel. My pet's veterinarian (who actually is an expert in canine health; unlike yourself), agrees and states that these symptoms are consistent with a viral based illness picked up while being kenneled.
Also, your explanation about why Lucy's fur was completely covered in dry, stale urine at the time of pickup is an insult to my intelligence. Dogs, like people (unless you're an exception) do not like to wallow in their own filth & will go out of their way to avoid doing so. Being completely soiled with urine leads me to believe that my dogs must have been kept in an extremely small pen in which they could not get out of the way of their own waste in the event of an accident. But you place the blame on me, stating that it is my fault for picking them up early & not giving staff time to bathe her.
To try & turn the blame on me as an ""insensitive pet owner"" who abandoned his pets last minute to an all gracious, compassionate & accommodating kennel owner is both pathetic & laughable. You make it sound as though all of this is my fault for not bringing in my pets weeks or days in advance to prepare them for being kenneled. What were we going to do during these visits to prepare my dogs for an upcoming stay…sit around the campfire and sing Kumbaya??? The simple fact is that my dog's illnesses are the result of a severe viral infection picked up from your kennel. Instead of a simple: ""Mr. Newman, we're sorry about your dog's becoming so ill"" and leaving it at that; you try to lay the blame on me as an insensitive owner abandoning his pets.
That really is pathetic. I know a lot of pet owners Mrs. Watkins, and I can assure you that I will share my & my pet's experience with each and every one of them. While this might not have a direct impact on your business, I can take comfort in the fact that my friends will be informed and not subject their pets to the experience Hogan & Lucy had to go through.
p.s. Classy act disabling the review section of the Canine College Facebook page & then deleting your first response to my review, I guess the truth does hurt & is bad for business.

When I bring my dog to Canine College for daycare I know he feels he is being treated like he would be at home. Why you ask? Because he never wants to leave!
The staff is very welcoming. They are very loving and kind to the dogs. They are very knowledgeable about what the best foods are to feed my dog and offer a fabulous training curriculm. This place can't be beat!

The staff is patient, well trained and exceptionally caring. If you don't want to leave your dog home by himself then this is the place for you.
Check them out on YouTube or drop by for a tour.
They don't require an appointment and are happy to show you around.
The staff is wonderful, they really care about your dog, my dog loves going there to play with her friends. They even have webcams so you can check on your dog during the day. I have boarded my dog there to and she really enjoys her little vacation away from me.A great thing is that they always have staff in the room so the dogs are not left alone. She comes home tired from a full day of playing,

Does the staff realize that there is a camera on the wall? I sat today and watched my dog alone in the ""pledge"" room for over an hour. He paced back and fourth, walked in circles, jumped on the door, and if it had sound I would have listened to him cry. People came in and out to clean and wax the floor and my dog followed them as they worked. I watched and not ONCE did those people acknowledge him, let alone lean over and offer him a pat on the back. They walked out and shut the door in his face. I have no clue where they and the rest of the dogs are, but I'm not paying this price so my dog can be alone!!
He is panting heavily and there is no water available to him...
I'm on my way to get him now. Do your pet a favor and keep looking...
We and our dogs LOVE Canine College. They take time to make sure that even shy dogs, like our Abby, are happy and enjoying their time at the facility. Our dogs are always exhausted at the end of the day from playing like crazy. We love to watch them on the webcams. The staff are always very friendly and our dogs can't wait to give them kisses and hugs when they arrive. Canine College is wonderful!
