Rachel Kushner is known for her caring, warmth, and dedication to her patients. She is a Board Certified dermatologist, helping children and adults with all aspects of dermatologic care. The specialized attention each patient received sets Kushner Dermatology apart. Dr. Kushner is experienced in diseases and surgery of the skin as well as cosmetic/laser surgery. Dr. Kushner is a graduate of NYCOM. She completed three years of dermatology training in association with Sun Coast Hospital in Largo, Florida where she was Chief Resident. Dr. Kushner is on staff at St. Barnabas Hospital, where she is active in the education of students, interns, and residents from across the country. She is also affiliated with Franklin Hospital and the North Shore LIJ Health System and St. Catherine of Sienna Medical Center. Dr. Kushner considers it her mission to treat all patients with the most effective treatment available with the lowest incidents of side effects. Being a mother of three children, allows her to relate to medical problems from a parents perspective, and to clearly explain disease to both children and adults. Her goal as a physician is to treat every patient as if they were a member of her own family. One of the most enjoyable aspects of Dr. Kushner's specialty is helping patients look their best and seeing them feel better about themselves. Dr. Kushner is a member of the Editorial Review Committee for the Journal of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology (JAOCD).
