Great service. New restaurant name victory sports grill. Food great. We are traveling, and will visit here again.
I have joined Portico for Mothers day, a 12 top for my mothers birthday and quaint dinners with my family. The ambiance in this place is warm yet sophisticated. The service is top notch. I always recommend trying one of the specials offered because the chef is amazing. The servers and bartenders are always able to offer the perfect wine pairing with each dish. I would and do recommend Portico to all of my friends and family. If you haven't been yet I hope this is what helps you decide to go.
The service here is absolutely amazing, not to mention the food. I recommend talking with William (Owner) he gives extremely good recommendations. This is a must go if you are in Richmond.
I don't think it's Ruby Tuesday that's the cause for the awful food, it's more the cooks they hire. The table bread is gross! This location was my favorite a long time ago.
I'm going to make this short. They have the best burgers in Richmond, Va and for that matter in all of the states I've visited or lived in the U.S. Hands down. And they don't charge 5-star chef prices either. I've tried all their burgers and they never disappoint. The fries are fresh and tasty and taste like potatoes! It's my secret place. They beat Carytown Burgers and Fries. I go there every time I shop at Kroger's, which is a stone's throw away from them. Zagat hasn't discovered them yet.
A fine establishment offering an innovative and interpretive selection of dishes inspired by Southern, Cajun and California (aka Neo American) cuisine. And the beer selection. ..to die for. I highly recommend a visit. And many repeats. ..
Enjoyed an excellent meal here at the bar on a cold and rainy evening in September. Loved the farm-to-table scene here and the quality showed in everything we had.
Really cool downtown bar. We had some appetizers here which were fine but we didn't fully sample other food options. But the bar is definitely the draw here. It's long and open and a great place to enjoy a drink. And the "ice bar" is neat but a bit gimicky. Next time I'm in Richmond, I'd definitely make my way to Capital Ale House for a drink.
We discovered Perly's on a cold and rainy morning. It had an old-school yet updated feel. The service was on point and the Cinnamon Babka French Toast was amazing. Will have to come back to try one of the many Jewish deli specialties. A great reason to come back to Richmond!
