I have bought all of my appliances from this location in the last year. I ordered a new range last week and I can't seem today to get the delivery time a bit more pinned down. I was originally told 8 to 12, 1.6.2017. I emailed the Manager, Dan, last week, to just find out he had left his position. Since I did not hear back from Dan by email, I called yesterday and again about the scheduled time of 8 - 12pm, today, 1.6.2017, but I own my business and I have clients that I need to take care of today as well and I explained that to BBuy. The lady that I spoke to yesterday said the delivery crew has been running behind, so I asked if I could be one of the first since I am just getting a range since I have to work at 1pm on 1.6.2017. She said she put the note in there, it is now 11am, 1.6.2017, and still nothing. I just called BB in Fairview Hts, IL, and spoke to Brian, and he did not seem as though he cared and said he would have to call the warehouse, I know that is in Earth City, MO, I have dealt with them previously. The delivery team is suppose to call prior to delivery, no calls. Brian said he would call and get back to me, he did not seem like that would be soon, so I asked him, can that be kind of quickly and explained my urgency since I have to make a business call for an hour today at 1pm, Brian said, "well, when I can get a hold of someone in the warehouse and find something out, I will call you back." I am afraid this will have to be last purchase from them, lack of customer service and interest. Brian just called back and said, I was 5th in the lineup for delivery, it is now 11:05am, and he said called dispatch, and they don't know where the delivery team is.. he seemed like he could care less... how sad...
Best Buy/ Worst Service. Wake up people; their rating is only 2 stars! Why would you ever do business here? We learned the hard way.Spent $1000 for a new high-end dishwasher and microwave. We were all prepared to buy one brand when the young (does it seem like this place is run by kids?) sales person steered us to another. Told us it was better quality, less price, and his supervisor owned the same appliance and loved it. OK, sold.Our kitchen was being renovated so we didn't actually get the appliances hooked up until 1 month after purchasing those items. Right away noticed several issues with the dishwasher. After 2 weeks of using it, I decided it was a piece of junk. Called the store and asked them about a refund or exchange. Was told that wouldn't happen after 15 days. What? You only stand behind the things you sell for a mere 15 days? Manager wouldn't even come to the phone; put me on hold for 15 minutes and then another "kid" told me I was out of luck.
I will never buy anything from this Best Buy again. They don't honor their extended warranties and give you the run around again and again. Would never recommend this store. Go to Carbondale -- better Geek Squad there.
