They only accept certain utility bills and not debit cards to rent a car. Since all of our utilities are in my husband's name and he was in the hospital when I needed a car, they wouldn't rent me one... After the Enterprise number I called told me that bills in my husband's name WOULD work! They couldn't tell me who I talked to when I got there. Go figure!
Absolute HORRIBLE customer service, HARASSMENT.I have rented many vehicles in my day, and the majority through Enterprise Rent-A-Car. My last rental was the most horrific experience I have ever encountered. I am writing this to WARN any other potential customers to STAY AWAY.Limited characters allowed, so here is the extreme shortened version.1. I used my employer's discount contract ID code for a small discount on a minivan. Employee Alexis Perks attempts to tell me the code is for "business use", not "personal use." I argue that she has no idea what anyone's HR website says and how they are allowed to use the discount code.2. Employee Duane Turner tells me a utility bill and/or my last month’s paystub is required to use my Huntington MasterCard since it's not a "credit card", even though I've used the same card with Enterprise in the past. I end up using my company's American Express as I was extremely short on time.3. No TV in any of the minivans, even though I rented one 7 mo ago that had one. Not a deal breaker, but made the trip that much less enjoyable by the kids (and us, needless to say).4. $150 required "refundable" deposit (even though I'm using a credit card). I’ve NEVER been asked for a deposit with ANY rental company, and even with Enterprise just 7 months prior. Duane tells me this just before he swipes to activate the rental.5. To wrap it up, the morning after I drop it back off after hours, I get my final bill. The $150 deposit has been removed. In its place is a $75 CLEANING FEE??!!!!I am leaving expletives out of this review, however keep in mind my true feelings on the entire rental process, this branch, and its employees. Other than a few small pieces of paper (what I can only imagine to be from McDonald’s straw wrappers), the van was returned clean, or as clean as you are expected to return it without using a vacuum and Armor-All.I STRONGLY feel I was straight-up harassed by this branch, both verbally with unprofessionalism and lack of customer service as well as FINANCIALLY. These people made my life and rental experience a living HELL and I am NOT standing for it!! People need to be WARNED! Go somewhere else! Ironically my wife later found very poor ratings for this branch on multiple sites.
Some of the staff is very argumentative...likes to point out how she's been doing her job for 2 years where i've been renting cars for 30 years.
