Absolutely fine. Frank gave first class service. Highly reliable and dependable. It was very helpful that I gave him the PRECISE model number of my Frigidaire freezer and a description of the problem before he arrived. Took care of the problem in a jiffy. Modest prices. Good experience.

FTL Appliance Service is by far the best appliance service that I have had for my refrigerator. Unfortunately I have needed quite a few repairs by other companies. I had FTL come out this week. A part was needed, FTL came back within 2 days and replaced the part. A pleasure to do business with FTL.

Do not use this company. If you do use them, do not give them a dime in advance. The owner will leave a job undone.

My dishwasher started making a terrible sound so I called FTL who had been recommended to me by the retailer that sold me the dishwasher. Frank, the owner (and apparent sole employee) came and replaced a part. The wrong part. The dishwasher continued to make the terrible noise. I called to complain. Frank tells me to describe the noise. Lacking Baudelaire-like a talent, I did only an average job of describing the noise and Frank was not able to diagnose the problem based on my description. I suggested that he should listen to the noise himself, but in reply I was told that he “does not have 40 minutes” to spend in my apartment listening to the dishwasher. Finally, we agreed that I would tape the noise and e-mail him the file. I did that. He came back and replaced another part – this time, the right one. Except now, he left the dishwasher at an angle, sticking out from under the counter and pulled away from the cabinet. Every time I opened the door, it scratched the side of the cabinet next to it. I called Frank and explained that I am pregnant and so cannot go around lifting dishwashers into place and asked that he come back and fix it. He told me he would. Then he didn’t. I called again – same promise, same outcome. Three weeks later, when I asked again that he return, he told me that while I might not be happy with the “aesthetics of the situation” the dishwasher works to he doesn’t think it’s a priority to return to finish the job. I think it is so finally, after waiting a month, I paid someone else to come in and move the thing back into place.

Do yourself a favor – do not use this company.
