Found this place on Google. I liked a few reviews so decided to check it out. Called and Wokie had an available appointment. She is AMAZING!!!! Very nice clean place. Wokie did an amazing job on my hair. My hair is neat, the style is nice and the prices are reasonable. I went back yesterday to get my daughters hair braided for the first time. This is now my new salon. I will be bringing my oldest daughter to get hers done too. It's hard to find good people who know what they are doing. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.
DO NOT GET EYELASH EXTENSIONS HERE!Thank god this happened to me on a normal day and not the day before prom or the day before my wedding! I would have been absolutely screwed with no time to have them removed!I had "eyelash extensions" done by the lady in the photo for the Aloha Beauty Center's Yelp Page. Lisa Yen. She said she was certified, and trained.I have had eyelash extensions done many many times. They are an actual extension of your eyelash, soft and feathery, much like your own, and are adhered one fake lash to each of your individual real lashes. What this woman does IS NOT EYELASH EXTENSIONS.She is not trained, she is not certified, she has absolutely no idea what she is doing. She used a colored cement glue & piled on a bunch of lashes to my lashes and stuck them together in huge piles. It's hard because your eyes are closed the whole time so you have absolutely no idea what is going on. Everything seemed fine until I heard her pull out scissors and start cutting the eyelashes! I was completely appalled & immediately started asking what was going on. I told her to stop whatever she was doing. Upon being able to see, I saw the horror that was my lashes. The woman had made me pre-pay & would not give me my money back.I demanded to see what type of glue she was using. The glue was obviously not the glue that is used in professional applications of eyelash extensions.I spent $300 having them professionally removed. It was excruciating & burned very badly. I was left with virtually no eyelashes. If Lisa would have used the appropriate professional glue, there would have not been nearly as much damage to my natural lash.Being that she used an extremely non-pliable cement glue, it adhered strongly to my natural lash causing a loss of over 80% of my lashes. It appears that Lisa Yen is not even a licensed cosmetologist or esthetician, just the owner of the salon.Video #1 - youtu.be/rhjjgAhKcOIVideo #2 - youtu.be/5Ht_jUnAZT4

It's a new salon, but gave me the best salon experience. I recently got my hair braided here and loved my hair. The braids were beautifully done and they were done very fast. The braiders were well skilled and professional.
