Dr. Dufresne is the best of the best. We initially met him when he operated on my baby, who had cranialsynostosis. Before leaving the hospital, a nurse came in and said to me, "Don't lose his number. Any of the nurses here will tell you he's the best plastic surgeon around. My son had a bike accident and his nose practically came off his face, and Dr. Dufresne operated on him and he has the teeniest little scar you can barely even see." Since then, every person in our family has been to him for elective surgery. Every outcome is incredibly natural and exactly what we'd hoped for. He is a master surgeon and an incredibly kind man. I have told everyone I know he could operate on me in the middle of the Safeway parking lot and I'd be calm as a cucumber. He's changed the lives of many disfigured people - I imagine his plastic surgery practice enables him to do all the volunteer surgery he does. When I had my eyes done, 2 of the nurses said, "don't be nervous, he does the best work." When the nurses at Fairfax Hospital tell you he's the best, that's a ringing endorsement. Love his staff and his nurse, Kelly as well!

I never thought I would get any type of cosmetic work done, but when problem areas appeared and exercise wouldn't get a rid of that fat, I was referred to Dr. Dufresne. The staff treated me like I was one of them and Dr. Dufresne could easily be one of the smartest, nicest, caring and humorous doctors I have ever met. Him and his staff nicely follow up and help you every step of the way. I am very happy with my results and excited to start my new lifestyle feeling confident and beautiful. Every single thing was perfect...especially my new nose. I am so lucky to have found Dr. Dufresne and his staff. Upon meeting Dr. Dufresne: He is a gentleman, he listens to your wants/needs, he is extremely professional and kind and explains his plan of action. After waking up from surgery: I found that he is also an artist, highly skilled, and did exactly what he said he was going to do. My new nose is adorable, fitting, and very natural. Side note to potential rhinoplasty candidates: Yes, the nose will be swollen in the beginning, but just you wait and see - it will be amazing! Bottom line is that I trust Dr. Dufresne. I have had other elective surgeries with other doctors in the area. No one comes close to this man's expertise!

I've been coming to this office for my facial every 2-4 weeks for about 4 months now. Anna is a skin goddess! Not only is she kind, sweet, and has the most glowing skin, but is a true expert in her field. I'm always so pleased and impressed with how great the service is and how amazing and attentive Anna is. A skin care session with Anna is a real treat! She is knowledgeable and proactive in treating seasonal skin care needs. She varies treatments based on the current condition of your skin seeking to improve texture and appearance. She takes the time to listen to your concerns and to provide advice and guidance on skin care products. I highly recommend this practice!

My journey began with Dr. Dufresne in 2013. After a few consultations with him, and phone consults with Kelly, I had my Rhytidectomy in July 2014. Each consultation afforded me the opportunity to get to know Dr. Dufresne and his staff. He always had a very calm, caring bed-side manner and understood my desires of the overall outcome that I wanted. Explanations were always given in a manner I understood. His patience seemed endless...always understanding, answering all my questions and listened intently. Being made to feel as if I was his only patient, never rushed, and given the VIP treatment was how I felt each time I visited his office. All of this played a key role in my decision to choose Dr. Dufresne for this surgery. More importantly, he was the right doctor for me.
My surgery was at INOVA Fairfax Hospital Surgical Center. When Dr. Dufresne entered my pre-op room, he was immediately aware of my surgery anxiety, and was very compassionate and caring. I observed the respect, admiration and rapport the staff at Fairfax Hospital had for Dr. Dufresne which affirmed my opinion that I was in "exceptional" hands. A healthcare representative from INOVA Fairfax Hospital contacted me a few days after surgery to check-up on my recovery.

I met with Dr. Christopher Chang today for Botox. I am extremely pleased! The staff went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable and we discussed other options as well other than Botox. No pressure sales at all! I also had a mini facial with their esthetician and it was a very pleasurable experience that I can't wait to return.

I came to Dr. Dufresne office because of Anna. My friended recommended her for amazing facials. Anna is very knowledgeable and helped me to solve my skin problems after several visits. She gave me simple but helpful advices how to take right care of my skin. It is glowing now. She also recommended me to get Botox in my forehead area to prevent wrinkles that I started noticing lately. I've got Botox injections by Dr. Dufresne. I wanted a natural look, and he's done a spectacular job of giving me exactly what I've asked for: lines have disappeared, but I still have a movement in this area! I am very pleased with the results.

I am a male and a baby boomer. I found Dr. Dufresne’s office environment to be warm and inviting, and the office staff kind and accommodating. After discussing with him my facial skin issues (I have very elastic skin that continues to stretch over time creating small rolls of skin on my face and neck), we agreed to a conservative game plan that not only gave me strong confidence in his ability to perform the surgery, but also a sense of comfort with the surgical approach and follow-on support. Dr. Dufresne respected my thinking about the surgical procedure prior to surgery and cared about meeting my needs both surgically and post-operational support. His surgical nurses are friendly and professionally top-notch. The surgical results were incredible and provided me renewed confidence with a new lease on life. He is honest and was able to accomplish what other surgeons believed was difficult to achieve. It is easy to see why Dr. Dufresne is viewed by his peers as an extraordinary plastic surgeon. Should there ever be a Hall of Fame for Plastic Surgeons, I strongly believe that through Dr. Dufresne’s demonstrated extraordinary results in my surgery, as well as his renowned achievements in reconstructive surgeries illustrated in text books and documentaries, he would be a first-ballet inductee! I am so happy that I found the right doctor.

Dr. Dufresne has been treating our daughter since she was born with a cleft lip and palette. He has always treated her as though she was the one making the decision regarding her care, including her in discussions and answering questions she had. He has a wonderful bedside manner and is very compassionate and caring.



His procedures have produced excellent results on her, leaving little evidence of the fact that she was born with a facial deformity. He considers such repairs an art form. We highly recommend him.
