I’m all shocked and personally offended to see these very low evaluations of this facility. That is in no way what I have experienced on my many many visits. They have bent over backward to accommodate my schedule, watched my luggage since I’m out of town, and made all my follow-up appointments with for my referrals, called in prescriptions when they said they would. If my provider was not there another one took care of it. They have a full service clinic and experts in almost every field. After my first visit, I changed my primary provider from Anchorage and made Steese my new primary care facility. My guess is those who rated Steese low had expectations or were seeking something a professional service would not do without justification. For those of you looking for an exceptional professional service I cannot recommend a better place in Fairbanks to receive it. Thank you Dr. Teslow, Brian, Katie, and Staff. You all rock. Barry T.

Was very surprised by the negative reviews. I've been to Steese several times (sick and following a car accident) and my husband went for a leg injury that turned out to be a break.

We've always been treated with kindness and expert care. They took X-rays, splinted (in my husband's case), and made referrals to get us in quickly for additional testing/treatment (MRI for me and orthopedic consult for my husband) that might have taken weeks otherwise!

They were a lot faster and less expensive than the hospital and took care of all of my insurance billing.

Definitely my go to when I need care "NOW."

I army husband was excessively I'll with a fever on a Monday morning at 0732. As we have a large Rv and the vehicle we parked in the rear of the parking lot. The faculty opens at 0800.

I was greeted , if you wish to call it that by a passive aggressive female manager who made the assumption that we had parked in their lot overnight. This individual proceeded to take photos under the pretense that she was to determine if we had permission to park there. Side note, even if that was here intent, there are no signs prohibiting this.

Failure for this individual to put patient care first and foremost, is apparent as she disclosed her background of that with the Department of Corrections. Further, this individual asserted that we were allegedly parked in staff parking, again there were no signs that this was not a permissible area to park.

Parathenthically speaking, we are courteous and park as far away from the entrance as not to obstruct or otherwise be an inconvenience to others, be it a medical facility, or a restaurant.

In summation, this staff nember identifed herself as the manager of the medical facity. The behavior exhibited by this individual profiles out to a passive aggressive person who attempts to control others by threat or coersion.

We are both retired professionals, I worked for the CIA for 22 years. We are not the local demographic that this individual is accustomed to pushing her weight around with in an act of superiority.

Apparently, patient care, concern and accommodation are either not comprehensive skill sets this person holds , or perhaps more directly this individual is neither equipped to lead by example, or to responsibly execute the duties of her position with any level of professionalism.

She was more concerned with playing "traffic cop" then looking to understand the needs of the patient.

Bottom line, AVOID this establishment at all costs, as most management with this type of hostility treat their staff in the same manner.
