OMG !!!! This is a pittaful excuse for "detailing" The interior of the car is a mess. First of all Platinum detailing was told to be pick up my car on 5/1/2013 and they picked it up on 4/30/2013. I almost called the police to report it stolen. When they called me back to let me know they messed up, I laughed and told them to not rush and do a good job, I did not need it untill 2:30 pm. The car was brought back before noon. I thought it was too fast so I looked in my car before paying. What a mess!!!! All of my car mats were soaked to the point that they were dripping. The interior was filthy, it looked like they just did a quick steam clean on the carpets and that was it. I was so upset that I got a wet white towel and started to scrub the side of the carpet and the towel was black., as I showed it to the person that brought the car back.all he could do was argue with me and say the outside looked good. I had to re-vacume my car and REALLY clean dirty spots they never did. The rubber car mats were never cleaned and just thrown in the back of my car. I have and can do a better job than Platinum Detailing. I even took photos of the mess.
The crew at Platinumdetailing really went above and beyond what I had expected. This was the secod time I had gone to get my ehicle detailed and the first time by these guys. Not only did they do an excellent job on my interior/exterior package, they went above the call of duty by removing gum and old crayone stains that I had tried endlessly in the past to remove, only to no avail. The guy who detailed my car, didn't chare me extra even though it took him an extra 30 minutes or so to remove the marker stains. Will defintly be back next spring. Than you for the hard work
I bought a gift certificate for my sister as a graduation present to get her car detailed here. Not only did she call 5 times to try and make an appointment, she left two messages and never received a return phone call. When she finally spoke to someone, she was told they would call her back in an hour and never did.
After the bad service she received, I decided I wanted a refund because we couldn't even TRY to do business with this place even if we wanted to anymore. I was told gift certificates were non refundable, even though my check was already cashed and all we had received thus far was the run around. They tried to back pedal and made endless excuses as to why they were non responsive to us trying to make an appointment.
In the end, I have not received my $90 refund and my sisters car has not and will not be detailed here. Worst experience I have ever had with a "business".
