My husband and I are in a difficult financial situation right now. We've never had to worry about paying bills but we needed to look at our situation and decided to sell some of our keepsakes. I went in here and Elisa made me feel completely comfortable and not as embarrassed as I was. She was absolutely honest with me and helped me in more ways than what I was in there for. I would recommend Odyssey Coins & Collectibles to anyone!

Provided by SuperpagesThis business isn't open. I went by mid-afternoon, mid-week (9/24/14), and it was all locked up.

Provided by DexKnowsI recently went in to buy a large lot of Lincoln Cents, and the staff worked diligently to get the deal done. I appreciate you taking the time to help, and I look forward to doing future business with you!

Provided by DexKnowsI wanted to trade in my gun and use what I could get for it towards the purchase of another gun. I stopped into Odyssey and talked with the two gentlemen working there. Both were very friendly and more than willing to work with me. After appraising the gun I wished to trade, I was offered a very generous and fair deal for it. I accepted gladly, and picked up a nice little .380 in great condition. After talking with the two guys a bit more, a brought in another gun for them to look at. They helped me fix the sights with no charge! I was really impressed by their kindness and willingness to help a fellow gun enthusiast. This is a great little family owned and operated business. They had a very large selection of rare coins and some unique military memorabilia. There's a pretty good selection of rifles and pistols as well, both semi-auto and revolvers. I highly recommend stopping by Odyssey if you're looking to buy, sell, or trade coins, military collectibles, or guns. They are professional, knowledgeable, and just good "stand up" guys! Thanks, Odyssey... You guys are great!

Provided by DexKnowsI had taken some coins to be appraised here awhile back. I didn't know much about them, my father passed and left them to me. It took me a couple of months to get around to checking other coin shops to see if the values were close between this place and others. Not even close!!! There was very little gold or silver in this collection so I know that had no effect on it, but there were some very collectible coins from what I am told. I am talking about over a 75% difference in price and these people I think were trying to get these coins for a song and dance. I sold them to another coin shop for over $12,000. Sad that these people either don't know coins or they were just trying to take advantage of my lack of knowledge. So from my experience you can not trust these folks.

Provided by DexKnowsI thought they were great, the guy is honest, he is right to the point, the service is friendly, they double check their prices, it could be higher or lower(usaully lower), and everything is organized.

Provided by DexKnowsHad questions about stamps cause i was unfamiliar with how to get stamps appraised. Lady with short hair was VERY rude and condescending. Would never go back. What does that say about the integrity of the business.

Provided by DexKnowsDoing business with this shop is easy, comfortable and fair. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rich will teach you what you need to know about guns, coins, military collectibles, buying and selling gold, and much more. Lisa has a great display of gold and sterling jewelry at great low prices you cannot get anywhere else. Katie is firm but knows her business. She will tell you like it is and give you fair offers. Marty is very helpful, very knowledgable about everything in the shop, and will help find information about just about anything you bring in. Pat has been very kind and helpful and always makes you feel welcome. Go to this shop. Buy/sell your gold and sterling, look at their military collections from the US, WWII, Germany, Japan, etc. Buy/sell your guns there. If you don't see what you want, ask. They probably have it in stock or can tell you where to get it. I've been to other shops in Everett and Bellvue, but I like this shop best. Offers are competitive and fair. Don't forget that they have moved about 2 miles north on 99.

Provided by SuperpagesExcellent staff, knowledgeable and friendly, and most importantly fair! I won't go anywhere else. Also the owner is a retired Coast Guard with 21 years of service. Thank You!! Please support this local business. They can analyze your precious metals with a meter that is very accurate and do so for free! I hope to do business with them for years to come. You can call Marty the son of the owner and he will allow you to lock in a price for pick up of their products a day or two later. Regards, Michael Brandt

Provided by DexKnowsI am certainly sorry one person was flabbergasted by this company wanted to stay in business. There is, however, laws in business about what you have to do to stay there. Judging by all the companies that have gone under since 2008, it would seem that those weren't paying attention to those laws. Reality bites . . . hard!

Provided by DexKnowsThe owner takes 25% when you sell him gold or silver! I sold some gold & silver to Can-Am Coins on Hewitt in Everett, and they only took 6.5%! BIG difference.

Provided by DexKnowsthe shop is fairly small in proportion to some other coin shops as they sell alot of military items as well but the people who work here are nice and honest and I found a great deal on a commemorative coin here. It is worth checking out and like i said the people who work there are first class!
