All it takes is a little preparation to get your car winter-ready and to keep from getting into an icy situation.
It’s time to bring long sleeves and long pants out of storage, prep your home and car, and contact the cool weather home/yard contractors.
Brien Ford, Everett Washington (TIP BELOW ON HOW TO SAVE EVEN MORE MONEY AT BRIEN FORD) +Why Brien Ford has the best prices in the state of Washington+ We contacted and emailed every dealer in the state of Washington and North Oregon to find the exact 2015 Ford F-150 Platinum truck we wanted at the best possible price. We watched the offers come in and quickly learned that Brien Ford was about $3,000 to $4,000 cheaper than all the other dealers. We called Paul (internet sales specialist) at Brien Ford and was surprised to learn that it was a indeed a real offer and that the price was as low as they could go. We continued to negotiate with every dealer in the state and North Oregon to find that Brien Ford was still $2000 cheaper. After talking with Paul, Brien Ford's internet specialist, we learned 3 reasons why they have the best pricing in the state: 1. Brien Ford will automatically give you the best price. This helps them sell a lot of vehicles quickly. 2. Brien Ford's management is smart. They have the right sized dealership and ordering strategy to keep costs down and vehicles flying off the lot. The way I see it, they pass the savings on to you by eliminating unnecessary costs. 3. Brien Ford uses their exceptional car buying experience and prices in hopes that you refer people to them and that you get your new vehicle serviced with them. Also, by providing an amazing experience from beginning to end, they hope to earn repeat business when its time for you to buy a new vehicle. +++HOW TO GET AN ADDITIONAL $175 IN SAVINGS THAT FEW PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT MUST DO: Make sure you go to their site and browse around until a pop up appears with a $100 coupon. If you can't find it, give Paul, their internet specialist a call, and he can help you. Make sure to print it out and bring it in to the dealer. MUST DO: Brien Ford has a cool referral program where customers receive $150 if they refer people who buy. I am now a huge fan of Brien Ford so get a hold of me (firstname.lastname@example.org) and I would be more than happy to split the $150 with you once you buy. When they confirm that I refereed you, I will just have Brien Ford apply the extra $75 to the cost of your vehicle. WHY I AM NOW A BIG FAN OF BRIEN FORD First off, Paul, Brien Ford's internet specialist started everything off on the right foot. He was extremely patient with me on the phone as I had a lot of questions. At the dealer, Travis was our sales consultant. I was impressed on how knowledgeable he was and how he made us feel at home. He first took us to their Barista Bar and let us get anything we wanted (really yummy coffee drinks). Once Travis started the paperwork, we met Caleb, their new car manager. The cool thing about Caleb and the rest of the staff is that you truly feel they are on your side and want you to get the best deal as well. So at the end, we finalized the paperwork with Ken. He spent time drawing a diagram to help us understand extended warranties and other services which was very helpful. I ended up purchasing their Maintenance Program because it was a great deal. You can buy all your vehicle's maintenance upfront at about a third cheaper than if you were to pay for your maintenance separately. The great thing is that I can go to any dealer in the country and get my vehicle serviced by Ford dealer specialists. If you are looking to purchase a vehicle, START YOUR JOURNEY WITH BRIEN FORD. If for some reason you can't make the drive to Everett, than at least you can use Brien Ford's rock bottom pricing to try to get the dealer in your area to come down on their pricing. Please contact me if you have any questions as I am more than happy to share my experience and answer any questions you have. Its nice to have someone who is not part of the dealer to talk to before you make a purchase and I am here to help. Addy email@example.com
Im writing because im very disappointed with im a first time purchasing a vehicle on my own at first they were very nice to me and Mia will call me everyday trying to sell me a car and when I finally bought a car less than a year the car was giving me little minor problems and I will call the service department and I want to trade the vehicle in and they just keep giving me the runaround and that the service department told me to go to another dealership to get my car fixed cuz they don't specialize in the certain kind of card that be sold me as a single mom of two kids is very disappointing and kind of heartbreaking all I wanted was to buy a dependable vehicle and now after less than the year of owning this vehicle is kind of giving me and that's my only vehicle I have so I called to see if there was other options and she told me to go online and apply on the application it's so disappointing because when I really wanted help there was no help but they really wanted to help me in purchasing a car but he didn't really want to help me I'm fixing the car that I purchased from there to worship
Didn't find many reviews for this place, but the ones I did find were all five stars. Since my local repair shop was quoting me at $300 just to replace the front brake pads on my car, i was willing to give Maynila a shot (and yes, it IS MAYNILA. Everyone spells it wrong.) I brought my car in and there were already quite a few cars in the parking lot awaiting repairs. I was greeted by Joe, who said he had an opening for next Tuesday, but after hearing that it was only my brake pads that needed replacing, he was able to get me in right away and quoted me for a LOT lower than my usual repair shop did. He had my car in and out with the pads replaced in a half hour flat. Friendly staff and excellent service. The best auto repair shop I've ever been to! Joe's honest, experienced, and has the best prices anywhere. I'd recommend more stars if I could and will be making this my new main repair shop. (Yeah, it's a copy/paste from my Yelp review, but seriously, this is the best place you could possibly get your car fixed, bar none.)
I have never had a better car buying experience. Klein Honda blew me away. Everyone was very pleasant, personable and helpful. Our salesman Rich Leavitt listened to my needs and wants and showed me exactly what I wanted to see. We looked through the front lot, the back of the lot, and behind the back of the lot. No stone was left unturned. I test drove 2 vehicles with no pressure, and bought the 2nd one. They got it to fit my budget, and again there was no hand wringing or pressure. We walked in to Klein Honda after 3 weekends of looking, and they easily had the largest selection. I'm looking forward to doing business with Klein Honda and Rich Leavitt when it comes time to purchase my next car, and I'd encourge you to do the same.
I initially was exposed to Brien Ford because of a warranty service issue on a previous car and was impressed by their customer service. That customer engagement extends all the way to the showroom. The Internet Sales team were professional and super responsive both during the initial research phase and when it came time to make a purchase. Where many dealers would try to push you to get a car on their lot, they went the extra mile to find the vehicle I wanted and provided all the information I needed to make an informed decision. When it came time to discuss add-ons and financing, the typically onerous task of dealing with the money guy was uncharacteristically low-key and customer-centric.

Why are there only five stars? I would go to eleven because this was the best experience of purchasing a car. Their financial representative, Jake started the process by determining which car our son could afford. Kelly was our sales representative and she made sure that everything was complete and acceptable. During this process we were treated to lattes and conversation. The car my son drove home was the perfect match and we all love it. We've bought a lot of cars over our lifetimes and Brien is now our must-see dealer. They inspire confidence and trust!!
My wife and I were browsing online and came across a few vehicles we liked. My wife decided to call in to make sure the vehicles were still on the lot. She spoke to a very nice gentlemen which he answered all of her questions the best he could. So we set up an appointment with him. When we got there, he greeted us and introduced us to a salesmen that was very knowledgable. I have to admit, this was one of the best dealerships we've been to during our month long process of finding the right car. I would highly recommend this dealership.
I have never written a review before but with my experience here, I just have to! Dan was so knowledgable and didn't pressure us at all. He even let us take the truck over night to make sure we love it before we signed! Came back the next day and was in and out. No long hours sitting around waiting for the typical dealership process. Definitely recommending my friends and family to Clyde Revord. I love the family atmosphere they have even with their customers. Great Job to all of the staff that helped us with our purchase! :)
GREAT customer service, Great PRICES.. HONEST people, instead of just telling me what was wrong they showed me!! .. Saw a article in The Everett Hearld about this place. I decided to try it out, I was on the market for a new mechanic shop. The best choice I made was choosing Fast Eddies American Car Care to complete the auto repairs to my car! 5 star service!!! BTW....... Free wi-fi, coffee and shuttle to home so you dont have to wait for those LONGER repairs!! This is where I will go from now on!!! GREAT JOB!
There are more than 700,000 auto service technicians and mechanics in the U.S. Finding the right one to repair a dent in your car door or fix an engine that won't start can be overwhelming, especially when it's an emergency. Review a few important facts about auto repair professionals and what you can do to get the best possible mechanic working on your vehicle's issues for a fair price.
Looking For Reliability
Unlike home repair services that evaluate a property, meet with homeowners and have time to prepare before their physical work begins, auto repair businesses are often asked to make fixes on the spot. If you come into a garage with a tire issue, the expectation is the mechanic will know how to correct that problem quickly.
That is why reliability is so vital when searching for a trusted auto repair shop. It may take going to several different mechanics before you find one you are truly comfortable with. Pose questions to this professional to find out what approach they will take to repair your car or what alternatives are available. Shopping around also gives you the best opportunity to find the cheapest rate or the fastest service, as some garages may be backed up with other vehicles that need repair first.
A recommended way to locate a trustworthy auto repair professional is to seek out customer reviews. Online sites offer honest opinions from real customers who have used a business. Read through this feedback to learn how a business operates and what you can expect if you were to take your vehicle there. Look for reviews about how quick maintenance was completed and if prices were fair. By learning what other people have said about a garage, you can gain a better idea if it's the right place to go when you have a car problem in need of fixing.
It can be difficult to know which automotive problems are serious enough to require expert assistance. A ripped seat cushion or broken radio don't involve safety and will not warrant enough of a problem that going into a garage is required. However, setbacks with brakes, lights and other parts that are vital to the safety of your car's driver and passengers, as well as others on the road, necessitate quick fixes. Many modern automobiles will notify drivers of an issue, in the form of a signal on the dashboard or a noise within the vehicle.
In the event of an accident, even if your vehicle does not appear to have any damage on the outside, it is generally recommended that you see a trusted auto repair professional. Internal damage may have occurred, or an important part may have been knocked out of place. Fixing these issues before driving much further can prevent further vehicle breakdowns in the future. In the case of a serious accident, a body shop can assess the problems and determine the best course of action for repairs, as well as evaluate how much they will cost.
Beyond that, regular checkups are recommended. Tires must be rotated, fluids needs to be replaced and the engine must be evaluated. After driving 25,000 miles, most auto dealers suggest having the vehicle checked out to ensure everything is running smoothly. Taking the car into the auto repair professional you trust will protect you from further problems down the road.
Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop. At the same time, be aware of mechanic scams that can impact your experience.
Preventing Trips To The Professional
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage. By handling these types of tasks on your own, you'll gain a better understanding for how your car operates and save time and money.
Along with understanding how to fix manageable vehicle issues that may arise, taking preventative measures to avoid future problems is a valuable time saver. Many problem-solving best practices are related to the seasons. Your vehicle will be in different conditions in the winter than in the summer, meaning it requires a different type of preparation.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures the vehicle will be exposed to, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check your tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
There is a common worry among many people that auto repair professionals take advantage of the general public. Because so many people are unaware of how to fix the problems in their vehicle, they are nervous of being overcharged by mechanics or worried that the improper work is being done.
While the great majority of professionals in the industry are honest, hard-working people, a few bad apples can ruin everything. You should be extra careful when first visiting a mechanic to guarantee that the price you're charged and maintenance the vehicle receives are fair.
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you are in the shop and your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill.
The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done. That way, you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
By working closely with an auto repair professional and doing some of the tune-up work on your own, you will be less likely to fall for these scams. At the same time, you'll be able to drive out with a clean and healthy vehicle, thanks to the repairs made by a trained professional.
