        Rideouts Transmission was founded by Milton (Red) Rideout (Above) in the early 1950s. Even though it was a general repair shop, transmissions were his specialty even then. We are a fourth-generation, family-owned business. Operating in the same location for well over 68 years. We repair most makes and models, automatic and standard, foreign and domestic, two and four-wheel drive, front and rear-wheel drive, and overdrive.         transmission rebuild

        I am a business owner in las Vegas and had a trans on our 2007 dodge 3500 lose the torque converter. The trans had 9000 mile on it from my local shop. We got towed to Aramco which quoted us a 3100.00 for a swap out trans. My local shop asked for some tests to determin what the problem was. And were in able to do...Tow driver recommended us to the boys at rideout..These guys know what there doing. Did test as I requested and we had a convertor failure which took out pump and trans needed a full over haul. $1000 cheaper than Aramco and showed me step by step..did also a few upgrades and got us back on the road in 2 days. After we got back on the road I was extremely satisfied with there performance. Trans has never shifted this well. and we work this truck hard pulling a 3 car wedge at an average of 26k lbs.
