I am David Armitage responding to the lying, arrogant, judgmental misrepresentation of my father, home and business.I am a professionally apprenticed horologist who went through state licensing testing and passed, 28 years ago, so I know what I am doing and can repair and restore about any clock there is.I have many customers I serve at one time,I work on many jobs all at the same time because I am one single person alone doing this. I am not Chrysler Garage with 20 mechanics. This is not a dry cleaning nor computer repair business.Clock work is tedious and time consuming and highly detailed work that requires much focus and concentration to do it properly.I do full woodwork and refinishing and metal work and complicated repairs to all types of mechanical clocks. What can be done with quartz movements is limited in some situations. This Lisa G person is a pretentious lier and hateful person I see. Sorry my father was recovering from a surgery on his back at the time and he has chronic pain in his spine and legs and has cardiac failure, sorry he was in so much pain that he could not do a song and dance for you.Sorry my home isnt good enough to suit Your Majesty's high luxury standards, sorry I dont live in a huge fancy mansion as you probably do.All repairs and work around here is done by us and we had not been able to continue some due to my fathers health and I am so busy with repairing clocks and trying to keep up with property care and helping neighbors who cannot do their yardwork due to bad health. At that time when she had her clock here,we recently just got finished with burying my grandmother who passed away at our home after complications with other health issues. We cared for her for years so she would have family helping her and not be in a home.I had been having depression and problems after she had died, so excuse me for not catering to you alone.I did partially disassemble your clock while I had it,I was just so busy I could not finish it.
I probably wouldn't even give one star except that when I spoke to the guy on the phone, he was nice. I dropped my clock off outside the door (never saw the guy) in October! The house was a little scary & I felt uncomfortable. Over the course of 4 months I would call to check on it. I spoke to him twice during this time. He promised it was a simple fix & it would be ready soon. After that I was no longer able to leave a phone message because the voicemail box was full. I finally took a small sign over there requesting that my clock be returned immediately (1st week of February). I taped it to the door when no one answered. The father of the "repairman" came to the door and somewhat rudely got my unrepaired clock for me. DO NOT USE THIS PERSON FOR CLOCK REPAIR!
