My first time at Fats was Saturday, 7/16/16, my son and husband had been there before and we had our 15 year old granddaughter with us. Everything was wonderful! I ordered the Mediterranean Tilapia, our server Candace said it was her favorite. I hope she wasn't disappointed when I had to take most of it with me. It was delicious but I've had surgery and can only eat a little at the time. All four of us were more than pleased with everything that was ordered and the service. Candace was awesome, she was very friendly and checked on us regularly to make sure we were fine and to see if we needed anything. Very good experience and looking forward to going back soon. On the one of many visits to the Fatz in Evans Ga I got food poisoning.I ordered the shrimp bisque and a Caesar salad.I found it kind of odd that the waiter kept asking me if it was good. Not 10 minutes after we left I didn't feel right. Was sick for two days....beware!!!
This restaurant is on my permanent list.
I have been a customer of FATZ for a long time, what impressed me was the first time.
I ordered a salad and wanted oil and vinegar dressing, unfortunately they didn’t have Olive Oil, ne problem, the manager send someone to the store to buy a bottle for me and he told me that from then on there always be Olive Oil for me.
I was impressed and started frequently use FATZ. I never had a bad meal or bad service and my son and eat out frequently.
We had eliminated several restaurants but FATZ is the one we choose when we can’t decide where to go.

Fatz was our favorite restaurant, and we had been several times. But we will not be going back after the fiasco that was our last visit. We went on a whim after a day out shopping, we had 4 adults and a child in our group, We were seated promptly but that was about the only thing done right. We ordered our dinners along with drinks and an appetizer, our waitress was not properly dressed (improper uniform) and did not refill drinks we waited with 3 empty glasses on the table for over ten minutes while she walked by several times and even looked at the table but did not acknowledge us or refill glasses. When our soups and salads arrived the salads were fine but the loaded baked potato soup had no potatoes in it. We still needed refills, but we decided to wait until our food arrived to say anything to the manager. When our entrees arrived three out of the five were fine, but the steak ordered by our friend was almost all fat (this was the most expensive steak on the menu) and the platter my son ordered, the ribs and chicken (not from the children's menu) was pitifully small and not at all as pictured, still no drinks. We promptly notified the manager on duty of the issues and she apologized and gave my son more french fries (no help with the undersized ribs though) and went and refilled our drinks herself. She told us she would take care of the service issue and offered us free dessert. At this point we were all like ok this will get better she will say something to the waitress and we can enjoy our meal. Not the case the waitress still did not come to refill drinks and when we finally flagged her down to ask for them and to order dessert she came over took the glasses and said ok. Another ten minute wait still no waitress no drinks and another trip to see the manager. On this trip to see the manager she said she would comp the meal and provide us with a new server for the remainder of our visit and was very apologetic about the service. The new server was nice enough but the other server was still in the area and even making snide remarks about us to the people at the table behind us. When we went to use the restrooms they were filthy water on the floors and no paper towels or soap an employee walked into the restroom used it and left but did nothing to resolve the issue. We were very very disappointed this was not the type of meal or service we were used to getting at Fatz. Seeing how many issues there had been we decided to send an email to the Corporate office so that they could know what had happened. We were promptly contacted by a manager who offered to have us back again on them to show us that our past experience would not be repeated, at that time we told him that they had already paid for the last meal, but he said it did not matter and he wanted to have us back still for free. He told us we would receive a call later that day as to when we should come to the restaurant, we never received the call, but did receive a letter in the mail with two five dollar gift certificates in it (our tab had been over $100). We called them back after four business days and the manager gave us the run around saying I am in a meeting and will call back today but did not call us back. So we waited and called him back the next day. When we made this call we were presented with a different story from him, he now claimed that we had made a statement in the restaurant that if we complain enough they will give us the whole meal free, and that we only complained for the sake of complaining and that there was no issue after the first one. This was was very offensive to us as we had no intention of getting a free meal we just wanted decent service. As a note we were dressed in jeans and tee-shirts since we had not started the day intending to go out to dinner, and did observe the waitress paying more attention to other patrons who were dressed more expensively. Will not be returning to this restaurant!
My husband and I eat at Fatz all the time.We love your poppy seed rolls.But what this is about is not the rolls,its about the wonderful sevice that my husband and I got.Our servers name was Tiffanie.She was so helpfull with the meau,we never had to wait for our drinks to be refilled.She always had a smile on her face.You should be very pleased to have such a wonderful worker there.We came in there Sunday night and we will always come back we now know who to ask for when we come in there for now on.Thanks again Tiffanie for making our night and visit a wonderful night.
