Found a used needle in room 38. Stayed there two days ago. It was in the binder with the town directory, information, etc.. on the table by the window. We had some of our belongings on that table and the binder got moved and a dirty needle rolled out.. It was reported immediately to the front desk and housekeeping. The housekeeper, I presume Jolina, the name on the paper in our room that says who cleaned it, she admitted to us that needles are found by her in every room and she fears, herself for being stuck by one. Immediately we were blamed for it, them saying "how do we know it wasn't yours?". I've never done heroin or injected any kind of drug in my life. That is not my blood in the needle nor my partner's, same goes for fingerprints. How do we know that no owners or staff left it there? I never got an apology. They left drugs and, for all anyone knows, a diseased needle. The housekeeper said, "I'm not sure that's even blood or heroin in there". After she came to our room to collect the needle in the binder she went downstairs and confirmed to the owner's wife that they left a dirty needle in our room. The owner's wife said I did not get stuck by the needle and made me feel as though she was trying to blame me for something and I'm in the wrong. No, you need to apologize first off. Not have an attitude because I found a dirty needle in one of your "clean" rooms and didn't get stuck.
Nice Place to StayI and My wife planned a birthday trip to Eureka, CA. I search for the hotel in Eureka, CA and found this hotel through Internet. I was worried about my stay. This hotel did not disappoint. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were neat and clean. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. The Continental Breakfast was delicious. The hotel is easily accessible to Restaurant. This hotel has made my Birthday trip most memorable for my lifetime. Hotel is near to Eureka, CA. Everyone was very courteous, great breakfast, good location, and nice clean room. I recommend this Hotel to everyone.
My experience here has been simply amazing. I first booked this room through priceline for a dirt cheap price. But I had a changed of plan and I decided to come here one day early. Priceline did not let me change it. So I arrived at the hotel and talked to the front desk who happened to own half of the hotel. He was being real nice and agreed to switch my reservation to the day I wanted on his own cost. The room was clean and decent enough for the price. After I left and went back to socal, I realized that I forgot my glasses there. I called them, and they agreed to ship it to my house! I am very impressed by their customer service and their friendliness! Now I know where to find a good cheap honest hotel in eureka!
I'll start by saying that I created this account just to write this review. I've been to many many Hotels and Motels up and down California and this has been one of my better experiences. Clean, super clean. The room was spotless, smelled great and the staff was awesome. Hilda, Mohammed and Said were so nice and helpful that I had to write a great review. Seriously great experience. Oh yeah great price also.
only there for one night, we liked the large room size, also the 2nd story indoor pool, sauna, and hot tub. it was very accommodating for a family of four. we enjoyed free toast and waffles for breakfast. the weather was stunning as always, i love the north coast, and all that fog. thanks for having us. room rate was not so bad
Our car konked out on us 500mi to Portland and we got "stranded" in Eureka, Ca. If you call being stranded on the Northern Coast not far from Redwood National Forest a problem....but anywho, she gave me a great rate on our room and when we had to stay another day she helped out a whole lot! The room itself was a bit outdated but we were comfy.
I am a local college student and Veteran. I was preparing for an Algebra test. I qualified for a discount and enjoyed the consideration and extra effort the staff displays towards all respectful guests. Thank you.
good value, easy access to hwy 101.the rooms were clean.and the staff was friendly could of used another set of towels. bed was kinda hard but i was ok if you need a place to rest. booked a 2nd stay the following week
The staff is really nice. Be advised you must request the Sauna to be turned on. Only the dry sauna was working, make sure to ask them to turn it on before you get in for a bit so it warms up. Wish the wet sauna was working. The pool is small, but at least heated and inside. The hot...
this branch of super 8 has everything i look for in the budget range except the complete cable package. it may sound simple but when i travel i need the extra channels to keep properly informed. i liked the pool and whirlpool very much
