The doctors and staff of this hospital are extremely professional and courteous. Prices are fair. Highly recommended.

Our family pug has been going here since we moved to eureka. I've never had any big issues with them. However, he is now at the end of his life and we are needing to make the decision of putting him down. I called on Monday the 22nd and asked to speak to the veterinarian (who has seen him for this matter and know what's going on), I was told they would take the message and she would call me back I never heard from her. I went in this Monday (physically) with my dog and they said the vet was not in Monday or Tuesday but that she would call me back on Wednesday. if I hadn't heard from her by 3:00 p.m. to call the office. When I did I had to leave a message and still no one called me back. I called today Friday the 2nd of Nov. I was put on hold for 15 minutes while 3 other people picked up the phone and ask me what I needed or called me by the wrong name. Then i was told that I needed to make an appointment to bring him in to assess his quality of life. This poor animal has been living in absolute pain the last 2 weeks and now they tell me I need an appointment.....? I am so disappointed and in disbelief at how they are handling this situation. It is already such an emotional trying time for our family. They have handled this with the absolute worst regard and care. I hope that they really take the time to assess what they want their business to stand for. Families calling with this type of situation should be handled extremely gently. I am so saddened that they think this is in any way acceptable. He now has to wait until Monday the 5th just for an appointment to decide whether or not his quality of life is poor. Even though I as his person and owner know very well that the time has come. They care more about their $65 office visit then the sweet man's comfort. I will never be recommending them again. we will also be taking our other dog and cat elsewhere.

I love this Vet! I've had a couple very BAD experiences with local vets and this place made me feel that there was someone out there who still cares about the animal and not the size of their wallet! I needed, no let me say that again, NEEDED to get my little kitty spayed. I was able to call on a Tuesday morning and they had her in 3 days later for her surgery, She came out like a champ! No over anesthetizing, they gave he pain meds that didn't wear off right away. This is my vet of choice from now on. The staff were all very sweet to my kitty. I was able to, and even encouraged by them, to feel free to call and check on her (which I did several times) and not once were they 'put off' or rude to a nervous meow-my :) She healed up very fast with no complications. I like Myrtle Ave and will go back again!
