I signed up for membership. Price changed without notification. I had many instances of canceled appointments, rescheduled appointments, massage therapists just not showing up for scheduled appointments. Big turn over of massage therapists. Therapists openly complain about the owner Rob. I am very surprised they are still in business.

Worst Management Ever

Massage Works is one of the worst places I have ever been. I love the massage therapists, they are great! The management, that's a different story. If you have a membership, be sure to cancel in writing, and make sure to keep a copy of that cancelation letter. Be careful when you do cancel because your card will continue to be charged and any credits you have make sure to use them before you leave otherwise they will mysteriously disappear. I found out that if you put the tip for your therapist on your card, they either don't get it, or only get a small portion of it, so please give your tip in cash. If you do have any issues, unfortunately you will actually have to go to the office and try to handle it in person because Rob does not return phone calls or emails. He really doesn't care. When you do get in touch with him, he places the blame on his employees, IT guy (which he doesn't have), or will say the computer did it without his knowledge. I'm sorry, but the guy is an idiot, in my opinion.

I do not recommend this place at all!!! The owner is the worst!! If the place changes ownership, I may go back, but until then, I will never go near the place again.

I got ripped off! My credit ca...

I got ripped off! My credit card was charged for months after I canceled my membership, and no one seemed to be able to help me resolve this. I called several times a day for a week and finally was able to reach someone. He told me he would have to talk to his IT guy and would call me back. What an IT guy has to do with charging my card is beyond me. After receiving no call back, I finally ended up changing my card number to avoid any further charges. Never again!

Yuck. Their introductory price is $39.95. Regular price is $69.95.

The massage itself was decent but nothing to write home about. I have been to many legitimate massage treatments, even from Texas Massage Institute on 121, and received glute massage but not at Massage Works. Glutes are just another muscle to me and even some female friends who receive massage enjoy it so it's not like I'm a perv or anything - They need to grow up.

The second disappointment came from the finish – the girl, Tanisha, just left me with a complete oily feeling from head to toe. It was horrible just trying to get back into my clothes. She left me no towel and I had to use the sheet just to try to get most of it off.

When it came to checking out, no one asked me how I liked my massage or anything. I guess they just assumed that they are very good. And they’re not. I've told friends about my experience to warn them off and they appreciated the warning. The search for a good massage therapist for me and my friends (females, mind you) continues.
