I had questions about color blindness and so I decided to go to the Eye Center to get it checked out and get questions answered. The doctor was unprepared and didn't know about color blindness, they dilated my eyes before I could take colorblindness tests. I had to make a second appointment and come in and they still couldn't answer my questions. A big waste of time and money. Next time I will find a smaller, and more friendly place.
Everyone at Cascade Health Center are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. They are a full service for Chiropractic ,massage and acupuncture. I would not be enjoying my life today if I had never went to see them. I was in a car accident. Dr McDonald got me out of pain and helped me with my healing process. I have been a patient at Cascade Health Center since 2001. I highly recommend them.
I had the WORST experience in my LIFE here with Dr. Shepard. I have been wearing contacts for over 15 years, and made an appointment to get my Rx updated. He gave me a trial pair of contacts to try. Wore the contacts for 5-6 days (they are extended wear contacts, btw), took them out twice to clean them, and was not happy. They were very uncomfortable and always drying my eyes out, so I made another appointment to go back in. He came in and asked what was going on, so I explained, and he stated "Well, like I said previously, you have very bad eye allergies and some people aren't meant to wear contacts so there's nothing I can do for you. Go get a second opinion, I'll refund you." First off, I DO NOT have eye allergies. Second, I have worn contacts for over 15 years so do not tell me "some people should not wear contacts". And instead of offering to write me a Rx for the brand of contacts I already have, now I need to go to another optometrist and start the whole process over!

DO NOT go to this doctor. He struck my son.First, when he came in to see us, he did not introduce himself. He was very cold and to the point. I felt it was rude to not at least introduce himself and when my son asked him a question he was condescending. When he was explaining things to him, he looked mostly at the floor. He never made eye contact with me, didn't talk to me at all. I asked his name and he gave me his response with his back turned to me.During the exam, almost at the end, my son tried to touch the optometry machine. The doctor slapped with force his arm away from the machine and told him it costs hundreds of dollars to clean and he was not to touch it. It almost made my son, who is 11, cry. I was shocked. I didn't know what to do.After the exam was over, I asked his assistant if the rest of my son's appointment could be with a different doctor or just with her because we'd had a bad experience. She asked me what happened and I told her and she essentially told me I was lying and was visibly angry. She went to talk to the doctor who approached me aggressively and said he did not hit my son. I told him I witnessed him slapping my son's arm to which he responded, "do you want to pay to have the equipment cleaned?" I said that there are other non-physical ways to correct someone and that my son did not know that he was doing something bad. He said "Well, I'm sorry, and if you want to leave there will be no charge." So we took that offer and have booked an appointment at Rainbow Optics.The only positive was the assistant. At first she was very kind to Jensen but she certainly did not have our best interests in mind at the end. Horrible awful experience.
Convenient, nice people, straightforward, honest, thorough--best price, got my glasses and wore contacts out. The last place in the mall charged me a lot. First time I ever saw a photo of the inside of me eye.
