Framing
They explained things carefully, showed up on time, cleaned up, and were extremely conscientious. I could not be happier with the windows they installed and with the whole process, which for me ended up in also having to have some framing replaced correctly. I know how challenging this job was, and they did a fabulous job. I highly recommend them to anyone who is having windows installed/replaced.

Window Installation/Replacement
Kathleen Wilken - December 18, 2014 I found this experience to be much easier than I had anticipated. I had estimates from several different companies and found Jones to be the best. The fact that they have multiple companies to choose from for both the windows and the front door made it much easier to select what was best for my home from both a cost and aesthetic standpoint. I opted for vinyl replacement windows and splurged on the entry way door with a full panel art glass piece that is such a neat additions and beings so much light into the entry.
Siding
This type of window and installation is more common in California with Stucco siding. Generally the existing metal frames of windows are left in place and covered up by the new windows exterior trim option and a large stop on the interior. This application reduces the window size overall, which in turn restricts view, light and egress.

Insulation
We've been really pleased with the new windows in terms of sound reduction, better insulation, and increased visibility in the windows which had blown seams.
Caulking
Having worked in construction as a carpenter for over ten years, I am a fairly hands-on person in wanting to make sure the work is first rate. I was home for a good portion of the installation; and I was very impressed with the skill of Anthony and his ability to handle the trickier aspects of this project. Whether it was simply his excellent caulking technique, his ability to creatively solve a challenging problem, or the excellent quality of the installation, I was very, very pleased.
Handyman Services
I had a remodeling emergency when the handyman I hired did not show up to do the job. I had 5 4'x2.5' new vinyl windows and 1 8'x4' vinyl window that needed to be installed on my single-story 1950's house. That morning, I had already taken out 4 of the old windows myself and only wanted him to install the new ones. After waiting all day hoping the handyman would show up, all I could do was put tape and plastic over the holes in the house and start calling every window installer in the phone book! It was difficult to find an installer on such a late notice (and at night when everyone is closed!), and It was a very big problem because I had tenants living in the house too!
