General Info
Ambrosia was born from a love of Italian tradition around food and wine. There is no better way to celebrate life than sharing a comforting meal with friends and family at the table! We feature classic Italian cuisine inspired by the vibrant Pacific Northwest, and are known for our seasonal menu and nightly specials featuring local produce, seafood and meats, handmade pastas, wood-fired pizza and house-made classic Italian desserts. We have an extensive wine list and sommeliers on staff, a full bar featuring local beers and hand-crafted cocktails and sodas. Weeknight happy hour. Our warm interior is decorated with classic furniture, primarily from the original owners of the building who were antique dealers. The soul of the restaurant is its wood-fired brick oven which was imported from Italy in pieces and assembled on site.

This place is a little pricey, but well worth it. Fabulous cocktails and really tasty, high-quality italian food. The building is older, but it's still great for cozy dates.

I ate here last week and loved the food. Big portions, reasonably priced, everything was fresh.

The restaurant has a very nice...

The restaurant has a very nice ambiance and the staff is fantastic but the wait is long and the food is overpriced.

Cold lasagna Soup

2 lasagna dinners 1 hour later its cold in the middle. Sent it back got soupy overcooked noodles and looked pureed.
Waiter didn't say a thing. $43 bucks and not as good as Safeway frozen. Its an Italian place, how could this happen.

The University of Pizza

I learned more about how to make a good pizza by eating Ambrosia pizzas than from any other source. But I can only wish that I could cook fish like they do. Nobody can cook a piece of fish like the chef at Ambrosia. Perfection!

Ambrosia has it all

Wonderful good, great ambience, professional wait staff and great wine. What more could you want for a night out? I get to Eugene several times a year and always take time to have dinner at Ambrosia. I just wish Armen would open a restaurant like Ambrosia in the Seattle area so that I did not have to travel so far for a great meal.

Service always great

I always stop by when I'm in Eugene.

it's all about appearance, not about food or service

I've eaten at Ambrosia a number of times over several years, it was very impressive initially but has unfortunately lost its way. The last time we ate there, it took well over two hours to get our food, the food was poorly prepared (burned, undercooked, dried out, cold). The serving people are very friendly but the basic service is not very good. After the last dining fiasco, the waitress offered us a free cup of coffee to make amends for a really poor $100 meal. Denny's does better than this.

going down hill on the food

I have gone to Ambrosia for years. The last time I went I was not impressed with the change to the menu. It was limited in comparison. I was confused by the wasabi fish in a Italian resteraunt. My stuffed chicken was not good. My husband had lobster and it was good and affordable. I was disapointed last time I was there.

Family and Friends

All my visits to Ambrosia have consisted of good memories and wonderful food! I love the fresh Italian cuisine with a nice cool Italina soda. delicious!! By far one of the best places to dine and the location couldn't be better. A nice area for a strole and a good place to see people or meet people.

The BEST in Eugene

You want romance? Class? Fine Dining? Awesome Ambience? Ambrosia beats ANYPLACE else in Eugene for the Best all-around restaurant/bar. With a wine list consistently awarded by Wine Spectator magazine, and expert chefs and dessertiers, dining at AMBROSIA is an experience you want to last all night. In addition to the great food and drinks, the decor of antique tables and lamps makes you feel like you stepped into a different time in America, New-Orleans style, classy, jazzy, romantic. If you live in Eugene, this is definitely the Happening place to go and especially take friends and visitors.

Feels Like home

Eating at Ambrosia feels like home because everyone goes out of there way to make sure your visit is pleasant and memorable. The drinks are always poured perfectly and with a smile. And the food prepared by the fabulous chef Dave is delicious. My personal favs would include the baked goat cheese salad, any pasta dish with seafood (usually a seasonal special) and the lasagna. For a quick bite, the pizzas and calzones can't be beat. They are always made with the freshest ingredients right before your eyes.
Ambroisa most certainly could serve it up to the gods... but they have been nice enough to share it with mortals like us.

Do it like the Italians

Ambrosia i would say, without a shadow of a doubt, is one of my top three places to eat in Eugene. The perfect place to take a drink after work, late night, or to take visiters to. Pasta, pizza, desserts....the best in all you could ask for. Bon Apatite!

1st class wine tasting

Had so much fun at Touche in PDX that we decided to try Ambrosia. Had a fantastic dinner and came back a few weeks later for an amazing wine tasting with spectacular food.
