Founded in 1984, Acoustic Sciences Corporation (ASC) is a manufacturer of the audio industry s acoustic room treatment product named tube trap opening a field in audio acoustics. Based in Eugene, Ore., the company designs and builds acoustic room treatment products for recording studios, home theaters, concert halls, churches, classroom, architectural and auditoriums throughout the world. Acoustic Sciences Corporation (ASC) also provides custom noise suppression systems to the Federal Aviation Administration, EMC and Harris Corporation. The company has its own 10,000 square feet manufacturing facility. Its products include acoustic sconce system, cinema panel, cool trap, earth wall, mix cloud, mix station, noise baffles, planar trap, monitor stand, sound panel, space frame, wall damp and studio trap, to name a few. Its sound fence is designed and built for residential noise control. It undertakes the Musical Articulation Test Tones (MATT) test for the purpose of testing recording studios and other facilities.
