Called ahead this last Monday to bring in a set of studded snow tires I've had for sale for over a month. Brought them in and was offered $200. I felt like that was a bit low and wanted to continue shopping around for a better price, to which the manager said was fine. After having another potential private sale fall through, I decided that enough was enough and that I would just settle for this price. Went back in today and another manager only offered me $120. After telling them that I was just offered $200 by the office manager. They took one of my tires inside and talked to the manager I spoke with previously. After a few minutes they come back outside and tell me they want to pass. Mind you, the manager from Monday said that it was fine if I go shop and around and try to get a better price. It seemed like he was willing to hold that offer if my other options fell through. Obviously not. I would not be writing this review if my family's holidays weren't at stake but these guys had absolutely zero compassion for my situation or the previous expectation they had set. I find this to be a fairly shady business practice and I hope that this may help someone else make a decision about which local tire company they give their business to.
cheaters. they added an extra $10 charge for special warranty on my new tire. they are supposed to offer it to me. but added it automatically and i didn't notice til i got home. now i have to return to the store to get it refunded.
Jon Weck came out to lend me a hand with my 2001 Ford F250. She had no fuel pressure. I had installed a new pump and still had issues. Jon was kind, patient and didn't give me, a woman, trouble. He even complimented me on my access to the gas tank by unbolting the bed and lifting it. He worked with me and offered to augment my past as an auto mechanic skills with another brain. Together we eliminated the possibilities and learned I had not only a bad battery but that the NEW fuel pump was bad. I found Jon to be very kind hearted and a really great guy. I'm delighted to know of this resource to help with getting me back on the road. As a woman who's in the know about cars, it's refreshing to find such a kind and willing participant to work with. I bought 4 tires for my forester costing me almost 600 dollars. It took an hour of this guy typing a calculator and making me feel like crap for not buying the 800 dollar option. They came with a warranty on service. I had to fix a tire from another car at tire sport and they saw that our forester tires were way over inflated. Tire sport offered to fix it but i declined because i thought wyatts should see what they had done. They were inflated to truck tire spec. They deflated them looking a little embarrased but no apology for almost destroying my brand new tires. So time goes on and one of the tires goes flat. I took it in and they said it needed to be cleaned to re inflate. I left it there over night and came back to get the tire. They said after i happily grabbed the tire i need to grab the invoice in the office. I was thinking to myself.... "seriously am i going to pay for this too" it was a 35 dollar bill for cleaning and sealing the rim. I was veey upset and made it know i was upset to the manager who just sat there nodding his head misunderstanding everything i was telling him. He defended his employees saying the warranty doesnt cover the wheel. I told him i would have gladly cleaned that wheel myself had i known i would have to pay. The old guy from the shop came and stood behind me and stated ge told me of the cost. I think i would have said no if i knew it woulf cost me even more money. Then he tried to tell me everyone some other guy hearx that as well. I had already payed the 35 dollars by this time which i regret. I let them know what a joke their shop was and how they lost my business for life and all for 35 dollars. I would reccomend les schwab or Tire Sport. Actually Highly reccomend TireSport. Tire Sport has always been fair, kind, and affordable. They actually care for their customers and will meet you halfway.
Have used them for years and the drivers have always been GREAT (and still are), but for the 1st time ever I had to go IN to the shop to deal with something that got damaged and the "manager" PAUL not only treated me with extreme disrespect but also refused to pay for/fix the damage done from them getting into the car during a lock-out... He informed me that it was just coincidence that the door sensor happened to go out at that exact moment and there was no way it could happen from them having to bend/airbag the door frame... And when I argued he told me take it to a mechanic myself and the convo was done and leave.... I wasn't upset about the damage, things happen and figured as long as they fixed it no big deal... But because of Paul they lost a life long customer and I will make sure to never send customers there way again (which has been a LOT over the years).... I would highly recommend NEVER using these people!!! As great as the drivers are you never want to have to deal with what comes with any issues that may happen....

Best towing experience! The person who answered the phone was friendly, and he went out of his way to make sure that I got the best bargain possible in my situation. Rode with the driver for almost an hour to town, and had a great conversation. Felt very comfortable and the truck was clean! They did a great job all around. Great customer service, friendly, and got my car where it needed to be very quickly. I will always call Rays if I need a tow, and I highly recommend Rays to anyone else who needs a tow.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS!!!My partner and I took our 2013 Kia Soul here to get the oil changed. When I scheduled the appointment online I opted for the free alignment check as well. Upon dropping off the car they tried to up-sell us on alignment service without even checking the alignment. The time that they estimated for the oil change was better in the shop than online. We walked to a nearby location to grab some brunch while we were waiting for the car. As part of the oil change they "measured" the tire tread. They called us and told us that the tires that had been on the front and were now on the back were at 2/32nd of an inch and were super dangerous to drive on. They tried to sell us 2 tires for the outrageous price of $195 when we balked saying we could not afford that they immediately attempted to push us into getting a Goodyear credit card. The paperwork they gave us said that one of the tires was actually at 0/32" the other tire they were trying to urge us to replace did say 2/32" and both front tires read 6/32" The tire which read at 0/32" would have already popped if had already been that.The car in question was a used car we had purchased at Kiefer Mazda less than two months ago. They would not have let us drive off the lot with tires that were that dangerously low. We immediately drove across town to Kiefer Mazda where they measured the tires and let us know the back tires are at 4/32" and the front tires are at 7/32". There are other places in Eugene to get reasonably priced oil changes. Don't give these scam artists your business.
