Founded in 1952, Eufaula Housing Authority is one of the departments under the State of Alabama, providing affordable housing programs. The authority receives funds from the Federal Government through the Department of Housing and Urban Development division. Eufaula Housing Authority provides public housing program that has housing authority as the landlord and section eight program which has an individual or company as the landlord. Additionally, it provides services to its residents, such as pre-schools/ after school programs for children, family self-sufficiency programs/homeownership classes for adults, senior citizens programs and youth programs.
