Incorrect Business Hours Advertised. We found this mall advertised on the internet as being located in Etowah, Tenn, and my husband and I decided to drive up and check it out today, Monday, August 13, 2012. (southernheritageantiques.com). Their website appears to be an active site as there are nice pictures of the interior that pop up with lovely displays of assorted antiques and collectibles as well as the days and hours of business. My husband is off on Mondays, and we make this our antiquing day when weather and time permits. Well, we drove all the way up there to Etowah today with the sole purpose of shopping at Southern Heritage Antigues and found the store to be CLOSED. We live in Georgia. We made the drive which was a little bit over an hour to this store just to find it CLOSED ON MONDAYS. If you look at their website the hours of operation are clearly stated as Mon. thru Sat. 10 - 5, Sun. 1 -5. We are extremely ticked off. The moron owner of this store needs to check their site and correct this. We knew the other antique stores in Etowah were closed because they advertise they are closed on Mondays. We wasted a large amount of gas, over two and 1/2 hours of our time and we could have drove to a different place and enjoyed a day of shopping elsewhere had we known they were closed. I have no use for this type of shabby management....a business such as this should be open during their advertised hours of operation or POST THE CORRECT HOURS ON THEIR WEBSITE. After all, isn't the purpose of a website to advertise your business? We won't be going to this store anytime soon and most probably the next time we drive past there on our way to somewhere else we probably won't waste our time again by entering this business even if it is open for business. We have dealt in the antiques business for over 30 years. This store may have very well lost out on the biggest sale it would have made today. Nothing erks me more than incompetent lazy business owners. Etowah appears to be a washed up ghost of a town anyway.
