JC from Jim Jennings was just great. I brought my car in because our was making a squealing noise. He drove out for about 10 to 15 miles to make sure he was hearing what I had described and also did other diagnostic test ..ALL FOR FREE.. only to determine it was in fact my transmission. He was able to find out became I had pretty low millage my car would still be under factory warranty. This means it goes to a dealership and Jim Jennings transmission won't get the work. I would definately recommend this automotive shop to everyone living within a 25 + mile radius to go here for any engine or transmission work. They were honest, kind, explained everything so even I understood what was happening with my car. GREAT PLACE, GREAT PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!
by far the best ever! thanks to Mr Gary and All his staff my baby was in great hands! most people see a opportunity to take advantage of women but they took the time to explain what was going on and what would be done to fix it!!!!!!! love, love, love, the way they do business!!!
Five stars...five million...This shop is exceptional. We have had the pleasure of using them times. I wish they did everything from tires to detailing because I would be there all the time, they'd prob get sick of me..if you are unsure and leary of who to trust with your baby Id bet my house on them, you will have a peaceful trusting experience. There is no better anywhere....
Our 12 year old Honda was (apparently) having some issues with the transmission. Given the age, and general decrepitude of the car, we wanted to see if it was just a bad sensor, or something more serious (and unlikely to be fixed...). Imagine our shock when the fault could not be duplicated. Jim Jennings took the time to make sure that the fault wouldn't come back, and, after putting many hours of labor into diagnosing the non-issue, only charged us for the gas they put in it for test drives (oops, sorry about that guys). There is a reason we drive all the way over to Essex, and this is a perfect example. Given that for most of us the transmission is the most expensive part of our car we are ever likely to have fixed, it only makes sense to take it somewhere you can trust you are getting the work you need to have done, the best that it can be, at a reasonable price.
I have had transmissions replaced in 2 vehicles by Jim Jennings Transmissions over the past 10 years and they have proven to be a company of their word. They have stood behind their work whenever adjustments needed to be made & always have taken the time to check things out thoroughly. In my opinion, they're the best!
