Unicoi County Memorial Hospital is a more than 45-bed acute care facility that has been providing a wide range of medical services since 1953. The hospital provides various emergency services, including respiratory therapy, and laboratory and radiology services. It also provides a wide range of home health services, such as nursing, home health aides, medical social services, and physical, occupational and speech therapies. The hospital's radiology department conducts mammography, X-ray, magnetic resonance imaging, bone densitometry, CT scan, and general and vascular ultrasound. Its medical staff includes trained physicians, pathologists and radiologists. The hospital is located in Erwin, Tenn., and is approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
