Econo Lodge

I went back to visit my hometown the first week of June. My husband had booked the room for my children and I. When we got there our room was not ready. One hour and a half was given a room opened the door the beds unmade and drink bottles eveywhere. Went back to the front desk. Was given another room. At first glance it looked ok but later we found toenail clipping on the carpet around the bed boards. There was a 1.5 inch gap all around the door that the sun shone very brightly early in the morning. Bathroom door looked like a rat had chew about a inch off the bottom of the door. The next day went to the front desk for more towels and was told to go find the cleaning people. Later that day went back late afternoon to ask for the towels that we didn't get earlier cause I didn't think it was not my place as a paying customer to go look for the cleaning people. So that afternoon I was told they would get us some towels. Thirty minutes later a man and woman knocked on our door with towels. The woman said they usually don't bring towels to customers after cleaning hours but she did it any way. I was nice and thanked them very much. The chair in our roomh ad urine stain or some type of fluid stain on the under cushion. I should have checked out and demanded my husband credit card be reimburse but was afraid they would screw it up and charge his card again like they tried to do when we check in even with my paperwork showing my reservation paid in full. I came home to my childhood hometown from Atlanta, Ga to see my only two living 90 something year old aunts, friends and cousins. Thank goodness seeing my family was great but our accommodations at the Enterprise Al Econo Lodge was horrible and very bad customer service. I will never recommend this place to anyone and next time I will stay at one of the other hotel/motels in Enterprise. I still think we should get our money back, but we will always know it was a waste of our hard earned money.
