This place is simply terrible. Some months ago, I came in to get a pedicure done. I arrived at the exact same time as another customer. The woman at the desk told us to have a seat. While sitting, 2 more customers came in and was told the same. The woman at the desk asked the 3 other women in there to get services what they were getting done and placed them at a table to get helped. She never even asked me, nor looked at me. I was so embarrassed. I rather than put up an obnoxious scene, I walked away in Shame. I should have learned my lesson after this first terrible experience, but I came back to give another try. What did I do that for? I wish 0 stars were an option, because that would be my rating. Today, I arrive to get a gel Manicure and was refused service. I asked why and the woman at the desk informed me that I was too late to have services done. Not to mention, she welcomes 2 other customers after me. She walked away to speak with another woman and came back telling I still could not get services done today. I asked for the name of the manager and said her name was May. When I asked to speak with her, she (May) refused to speak to me. The woman on the phone continued to tell me I should have come in earlier and I can come back tomorrow. She went onto say, that although they close at 8:30, it is their practice to stop accepting new customers at 8pm because of closing. I asked her for clarification 3 times on this, as she accepted 2 customers after me! I'll never go back and will tell everyone I know about these experiences at Tranquility Day Spa!!!
Love this place and the gals are fabulous! Your nail polish seems to last longer than other places and they really do care! They do not give the massages as other places do (back/shoulders etc...) but, they do massage your legs, use warm stones, and massage hands a bit too. They are the most reasonable in the area with out gimmicks! Try them -- you will enjoy it! Very relaxing chairs too!
The worst pedicure I have ever received. The female tech barely cut my toenails, barely filed my toenails, barely cut the cuticles, did not scrub heals and barely massaged my legs! She did polish the nails OK but thats the only good thing I can say. $28.00 ... way too much for this pedicure. Will not go back!
I will never go back. I went for a friend's wedding to get a Polish change on my gel nails and a basic pedicure. The woman did a terrible job on my nails. One corner is round the other corner in squared. I prefer squared. I asked her to fix them and she said they were fine. She had a bad attitude and kept rolling her eyes at me. Not only did my nails look terrible but a Polish change and a pedicure should not be $100.40!!!!! The pedicure was $30 so my nails were $70???? To simply change the polish? Never again!!!!!
I get my pedicures done at a salon up the street for me in Agawam Massachusetts and was recommended to go to you guys for a pedicure. I just had a pedicure done two weeks ago by another salon and my feet end up feeling a lot worse after I got a pedicure from U Nails. Not to mention a $38 Deluxe Spa pedicure was only 25 minutes long. Where I go I'm there for over an hour and they take there time and charge the same price plus they do the paraffin wax I top of it. This place is not worth the $38! I know they add in the massage but not worth that price still. Never go back!
I had heard really good things about this spa, but when i went in and got my pedicure.. it was just so so. The guy painting my nails did a real messy job. Honestly, I could have done this probably about the same.
Not sure who the other reviewer had. My mom and I have been going to Ken for years! Every time his boss opens a new salon he goes to that one and we've followed him every time (3 times). He is great! Also, their prices are the cheapest we've found in town.
Literally the WORST nail experience I've ever had. Just left there and my nails are a hot mess, the guy was coughing all over me the whole time he was working on them, it was dirty and nasty and I wouldn't go back there to get my nails done for FREE! Definitely AVOID THIS PLACE. There are WAY better nail salons in the area and I made the huge mistake of trying this one out!
friendly, even when the salon was hectic and busy! i went in for a gel manicure and they gave me a back massage with a hot pad and put my hands in warm wax and they massaged my hands. it was so nice. maggie was great
So happy, i have gone twice only place in town where my gel mani/pedi lasted over three weeks
