Was so incredibly please with my experience here! I see people have left reviews about not liking that they do bridal by appointment but I thought that it was a great experience BECAUSE it was by appointment. I was treated amazing, had one on one help and felt like I was important unlike at the other stores that I visited where they didn't have appointments. I found my dream dress and ordered it the other day! I have been recommending this store to everyone I know who is getting married!
Bridal Emporium wants to make your bridal gown search special and informative. Having said that, We request bridal appointments so you will have a qualified consultant assist you in selecting the perfect gown. While some find this an inconvenience others prefer the one on one attention.
If you dont make an appointment you're apparently not welcome here. AND when you do you are limited on time and how many dresses youre allowed to try on. they clearly have no idea what customer service is. I went to Wedding Works and Danel and if you want to be treated as a bride, as you should go to Wedding Works for your wedding needs...the ladies there go above and beyond
Im not one to review companies online but have recently learned that it helps to guide other people with important decisions in life. I visited many locations over the last almost 4 months now trying to find the perfect gown and dresses for my girls. This wasn't the WORST experience, but was far from the best. The first few times that I had been in here it wasn't the attention you would assume you would get, taking 5-10 minutes just to get someone to say hello. They had a good selection on gowns, but the prices seemed a bit high for our area and other salons I had already been to. Long story short, we were helped, then upon my return there was a new lady, apparently the new owner, and a man behind the counter. We received not a word, for over TEN minutes, pawed through the dresses in the plastic bags to see if there was anything new, and left without a single word being said to us. We obviously didn't get our dresses here nor would we refer anyone. This service, or lack of service, has motivated me to review places that I visit, for both positive and negative reasons because people should be able to know what they are getting themselves into.
I stopped in with a friend on a weekday afternoon to look at bridal gowns. I didn't have an appointment but was told I didn't need one when I called before. We were in the store browsing dresses for almost half an hour and they didn't say a single word to us. not even hello. They weren't busy. Someone was even cleaning the mirrors. There were some dresses I wanted to try, but the service was so awful I didn't want to give them my business! go somewhere else!
I dropped in on a Saturday, no appointment, and I was able to try on the dresses I liked, no problem. They were friendly, helpful, and even took a display dress down for me to try. I may go back to buy my dress. They have the best selection of current non-strapless styles.
Boy do I wish I had read the reviews before going to Danels. The zipper of my daughters dress which we had picked up from Danels just two weeks prior to the prom exploded after two hours in the dress.. Monday after school we went to Danels, showed them the before and after pics of her night with dress in tow, and their first response was once the dress has left the store, they are DONE. Nada, nothing. Almost $400.00, suck it. They didnt even offer a refund on the alterations (which was just the hem, but @ $45.00)They grudgingly offered to fix the zipper "so that we could resell the dress to somebody else because Johnson City's prom is still two weeks away" (?thanks I guess?!) so we left the dress.Well, that was FIVE months ago. STILL do not have the dress back from them. UGH! Oh, and the owner was completely rude and out of touch. Just awful customer service.
Wonderful store! The amount of inventory they keep is astounding. Stunning gowns everywhere! Good service every time I have been here. I would recommend this store to anyone! The only thing that I dislike is that the parking lot is small, maybe a dozen parking spots so when they are busy it is hard to find a spot! However, the little walk from the parking lot on the other side is worth the experience. Also, for anyone wondering they carry dresses for any occasion. I first thought that it was JUST a bridal salon but they carry just about everything. Prom, bridesmaids, mothers, flower girls, gowns to attend a wedding are all on the first floor, along with tuxedos and bridal is all upstairs. Bridal was by appointment, but I liked that because I got my very own bridal consultant to help me and my family and I got a private room to ourselves!!Love this store!!!
My wife and I had the best time in this store. We had gone to a couple other "bridal" stores in the area and none of them compared to The Bridal Emporium. The staff was extremely friendly and really took the time to understand exactly what we wanted. I rented my tux's here for my groomsmen and myself and they turned out awesome! My wife also bought her wedding gown here, which she looked absolutely stunning in. The best part was that they were really flexible with payment plans. We only had to put a $20 deposit down for tuxes and my wife could make payments monthly to make things affordable.
Lovely store, great staff and wonderful customer service! I have gotten gowns here numerous times and I wouldn't go anywhere else! Highly recommended!
