Wow, I had a much different experience from the other reviewer. I work in Westwood and Rocco dropped me off at my office when I took my car in for repair, and picked me up a couple hours later when it was done.

Rocco & Richie use to be the Exxon Westwood Auto Repair but now do the same quality work out of a smaller building just down the street in Emerson. (On Chestnut, just off Kinderkamack, a couple of blocks south of Stop & Shop)

Don't be put off by the way the place looks. They know their stuff, do quality work and charge fair prices.

When I was younger I changed my own oil but am getting too old for that. I know enough about cars to know that they tell me what needs to be done and don't try to pad the bill with un-needed services. That's my experience for the last 3 years. They get my recommendation. Thom

The proprietor uses a hard-drinking, pill-popping drug addict technician whose work is shoddy, whose job-completion is profoundly error-prone and whose demeanor is misogynistic. While both owner and tech are capable of any job from basic to advanced work, I believe if the proprietor has integrity it is vastly undermined by his rush to get through jobs and his hired-help not to mention his unreliably kept completion-promises relating to when jobs will be done and whether they will be done right the first time. I would recommend you avoid my mistake and just look elsewhere--any money saved will not be worth the screaming it eventually takes to get it done right.
