Overall

Ate there 2 times in the last two months. We were visiting and used to live near there.. Both times the food was amazing. The spaghetti and meat sauce is exactly the way I remember it from over 40 years ago. We will be eating there again in September....and yep I know what I'm ordering. Love the salad and bread also.

Went tonight. Asked our hostess to describe what came on the antipasto salad. Nothing that she described...roasted red pepper, onion, artichokes....which was why I ordered it, was on the salad. Ended up being lettuce...lots of lettuce...olives, tomato, provolone cheese and salami that was sliced lunch meat. No vegetables where available and everything had pasta or was fried. I'll never go back!

Always amazing

Newly reopened. Food is good but I am missing some of the most amazing shrimp scampi I've ever had anywhere. We were told to keep an eye out for our favorites from before. I can't wait! Yum! You'll never want scampi anywhere else!

True Old Italian Restaurant

I have had nothing but great meals at the Palms. It's an old Italian Restaurant in an old Italian neighborhood. While it's dated, I think that's part of the charm. If I want good Italian in Elmira or Horseheads, I'll choose the Palm's over Tanino's anyday.

Shrimp Scampi

Visiting Elmira from Las Vegas where there are hundreds of fine restaurants, we hardly expected to find the best shrimp scampi we had ever eaten. We are returning to Elmira this summer and look forward to enjoying this wonderful dish again.
