She blends many different types of therapies to help clients reach their fullest potential in the shortest amount of time. Some of these therapies include clinical hypnosis and mindfulness based-therapies with an underlying understanding that our mind and body are connected and that we can learn how to use our minds to create the life we want.Cheryl RubinCheryls background includes receiving her Masters Degree in Social Work from Simmons College in Boston. She received her clinical hypnosis training from the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and is a member in good standing. She has been trained in EMDR through EMDRIA and is a Certified EMDR Therapist. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.Cheryl is also a Reiki Master in the Usui tradition and has been practicing the healing art of Reiki and Chakra balancing for seven years blending this healing technique with clinical hypnosis and psychotherapy to create a very powerful but gentle healing environment in which the client feels completely supported in the change process.Cheryl works with many different issues including depression, anxiety, life transitions, and trauma and specializes in healthy weight management and eating disorders.
