Dr. Steven Klein has a bachelorâ€™s degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, and earned his Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago where he was elected to the International Optometric Honors Society. Dr. Klein completed his rotations at the Illinois Eye Institue in Chicago, IL, the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Memphis, TN, and the Draisin Vision Group in Charleston, SC. At these clinics he specialized in contact lens care, ocular disease, pediatric eye care, binocular vision disorders, and vision therapy. Dr. Klein also completed rotations at the Australia College of Optometry and the Univeristy of Melbourne Eye Clinic in Melbourne, Australia where he focused heavily on primary care optometry. In addition to having a passion for ocular health and vision care Dr. Klein also loves to travel. He has helped lead optometric missions to Ecuador and Guatemala, providing free eye care and materials to patients from underprivileged populations. His passion for traveling has taken him to more than 70 countries around the world. He also loves to travel all over the United States visiting the National Parks and following the Orioles, Ravens, Terps, and his favorite band Pigeons Playing Ping Pong.
