We purchased 3 phones through a Sprint contract which ended in October. We spoke to two individuals in this store (one was a Representative and the other a Store Manager) and asked if our phones were unlocked. They both assured us that since our contract was over, our phones would be automatically unlocked. We didn't need to do anything.Based on this information, we went next door to sign up with Verizon because of the unlimited deal they were offering. Because the phones were NOT unlocked, it took several frustrating hours of troubleshooting and a trip to the Apple store to realize the problem was not with Verizon or our phones. A visit to a different Sprint store confirmed that we were given bad information at this store -- you had to CALL to get your phones unlocked.
