First of all getting an appointment is difficult as you can't talk to a real person. Talking to a robot is difficult if they don't know how to answer questions. This is the second time I have tried to make and appointment or ask a general question to no avail.Don't bother trying to call the lab you want to go to. Apparently that isn't allowed? Awful service. If you have a choice of labs don't go here.
I had a very unpleasant experience this morning with the technician drawing my blood test. I specifically indicated that a butterfly needle be used since I have very tiny veins. The technician used a large needle instead which caused me intense pain! I then questioned her why she used a large needle when I had told her to use a small butterfly needle - her reply was that since she has only been a couple of months working there that she was not allowed to use the butterfly needle ! I only realized she had not used a butterfly needle as requested when I felt the intense pain after she inserted the needle! I questioned her why she did not notify me in the first place that she was not allowed to use a butterfly needle , I could have requested another technician to do the procedure. To me this was a very bad business practice! I hope your office would take measures to remedy this situation!
