Went in for a helmet for my 2 y/o son, Kevin spent a lot of time making sure we got a size that would work but had room to grow in to. Then when we picked a design out of the catalogue he called the other stores to see if they had it in stock, but ended up ordering it for us. Kevin spending so much time on such a small sale earned his store lifelong customers. Thanks EG bike shop!
I had the worst experience of my life at the Elk Grove Bike Shop located at 9633 E. Stockton Blvd. When I gave them my failed tire and asked them for a replacement, they sold me the wrong sized tire. I didn't notice it until I went to install it. I took it back and they only had two tires in the proper size, neither were acceptable and they refused to give me a refund! He wound up asking me to leave his store and never come back. See full details on YELP. Even accused my 9 yr old grandson of trying to steal a bike bell. The family owns three other bike shops and two of the stores have almost one out of four negative write-ups, some just like my YELP. My bad for going there in the first place I guess. Beware, the owner is very nice and sweet up front when selling, but flips-out and goes to the evil side if you have a problem. Do yourself a favor and read the yelp reviews for East Sacramento and Greenhaven Bike Shops.
