Elk City Hotel & Gift Shop offers a great place to stay in the middle of the Idaho's Nez Perce/Clearwater National Forest. Surrounding forests offer hunting, fishing in streams and high mountain lakes, backpacking, snowmobiling, and much more. We are a traditional motel with a variety of room choices. If you are a history buff, there is plenty of it here starting with the discovery of gold in 1861. The gift shop features a museum with historic photographs and artifacts from those days.
