General Info: Fairview Elementary School provides a variety of educational and extracurricular programs to students in kindergarten through grade five. Its basic curriculum consists of a communication arts block that includes English, reading, spelling, handwriting, writing, listening and speaking skills. The school also offers math, science, health and social studies classes. Fairview Elementary School s educational strategies include guided reading, phonics, word study and comprehension skills. The school provides classes in music, art, physical education and library sciences. Its parent-teacher organization sponsors fundraisers that provide money for cultural and educational programs, family evening entertainment and refreshments for special events and school celebrations. Fairview Elementary School is a part of the Elizabethtown Area School District, which operates several primary, middle and high schools in Pennsylvania.
