My experience was phenomenal! They sent Management Trainee, Michael Birkner, to pick me up. The ride takes 10-20 minutes to get back to the office. During that time, Michael began to engage me in polite, casual conversation and found a common ground of interest about me to work with, which made me feel very calm about having some stranger I don't know picking me up and driving me off somewhere; that's one of the reasons I'm not a big fan of Uber. But, he didn't stop there. He continued to engage me in casual conversation while we were signing paperwork in the office, and made the entire experience feel like I was talking to a friend, rather than an employee. Even when I needed the car longer than I anticipated, Michael took it upon himself to call me personally, TWICE, to ensure everything was okay, asking me if there was anything he could do to help! I LOVE THESE GUYS! I highly recommend them.
this place is totally dis-organized. We reserved a vehicle and they told us over the phone all we needed was our bank account visa debit card, 2 forms of id, photo id with current address on it. Which our address was on my husbands Id. They said if it was not a current address to bring a utility bill. Not once did they mention that the utility bill had to have a 0 balance. Who has a 0 balance utility bill it is ongoing. Don't rent from these morons. The manager is mainly at fault apparently he does not communicate with his employees.
Customer Service is very lacking. Reserved a car 10 days early and an hour before i went to get it they called and said they didn't have any cars. Forced to change my travel plans because i couldn't get to the airport. The week before i had a rental from this location and the check tire pressure light came on 3 times, driving from Elizabethton to Asheville. Had to get air twice and they gave me $15 credit...
Horrible customer service from Danny Downs and Logan Jennings. Car wasn't ready when suppose to be changed over to another car that hadn't been cleaned yet. Made us 1 1/2 hrs late . Car returned after being parked in parking garage entire trip and charged additional 250.00 for "hail damage" . Car was never driven in a storm but they reported storms in area. Beware of renting from this bunch and make sure you photograph car before hand. Better yet rent from someone else!!!!
Me and my daughter Ashley have been renting a car every weekend for 3 months now.. From Elizabethton to Knoxville.. I have received the best customer service from everyone.. Danny Downs,Matt McClellan, Logan Jennings and Michael Birkner.. I recommend everyone to get there rental there. Excellent rates. Even some discounts, because of my repeat business..They are so polite. I'm in and out quickly. It is a total joy working with them every week.. They even know our names as we walk in.. Car is always ready, and I'm out the door in at least 15 minutes.. They are great people, with always a smiling face.. We will continue to work with them weekly.
