I have a Maytag dishwasher that made terrible noise. When we called appliance repair, they told us to clean the filter, and if the noise didn't clear up, call back for an appointment. This was kind of surprising to me, but we did it. We then called for an appointment. James showed up at the end of the appointment window. I know these things can't be helped. He looked over the machine, inspected the work done by my husband and pronounced it well done and fixed. In addition, James gave me valuable information about the dishwaher, it's maintenance and even the soap to use, saying we had been using the wrong kind (for years!). All we needed to do was to run a dishwasher cleaner, which we bought online (cheaper than buying it from the repair company.) I am very pleased with how this turned out, and thankful we were sent an agreeable, knowledgeable technician. At first I was miffed that we were to do the cleaning work, but it was a learning experience about disassembling and putting back together the dishwasher. So this was a 5 star experience. Glad I signed up for maintenance again.
I called Sears for a service call for a leak from my washer (that had warranty on it) and they scheduled a tech to come out. The techs came and found it wash a hose that needs to be replace and had to order the part so waited for part. Few days later the came back and found out they ordered the wrong hose, had to wait again and while waiting had to go to laundry mat to do my laundry. About week later they got the right part and they installed the part and they stated its fixed. I put a big load of clothes in the washer, than did other chores around the house and came back found out water all on my first floor(kitchen,hall way, living room) went downstairs and see water gushing thru my vents and around the toilet(while checking the back of the washer I've notice that the techs didn't replace the backing of the washer that shows poor workmanship). Call the service techs back to fix it (questioning me that sure it was a washer) they came back try to fix the issue (for 1 1/2 hrs) than stated they be back the next day to check up on it. The next day still cleaning my mess I decide to look at it myself and found out these techs put the hose backwards(look it up on you tube). I actually fixed it myself that took me about 15 mins. to fix it and later techs dropped by that I had told them the issue was that they put the hose backwards. For these incompetent techs now I have water damage and guys trying to clean up water and mold for floors and walls. This is my worst experience in my life with any service calls or repairs that I had used.
My Dryer broke and Sears had someone out the very next day!
I didn't purchase the warranty so I had a to pay the service charge plus parts and labor. I wasn't too happy about that but I had to do what I had to do. I needed my dryer!
After the technician was done ( which he was very efficient), he let me know about a coupon that sears had out. He took 2o% off the total. I was very grateful! He was very courteous too. I also love that he had the part with him! Great service!!
The service gentleman was knowledgeable and professional. However, I've had so many service calls on this refrigerator, it's ridicules. He was just here, and now there's another problem, that I've had before. Completely dissatisfied with the PRODUCT. Waiting to take the next step.
Sears service was very professional. The service guy was polite and answered all questions and completed the service call in a timely matter even though my repair needed him to completely take my washer apart. Everything was fixed and he ran a load on washer before he left to make sure everything worked. 5 stars
