My daughter has been taking lessons at Little Creek for 2 years. All of the animails are well cared for from the horses to the barn cats. The barn is well run, the rules are clear and if not followed corrective action is taken. I don't think I could find a safer barn.

Great Place!

I've boarded at Little Creek for almost 2 years now and couldn't be happier. My horse gets exception care, facility is always clean and boarders are all very friendly. Access to cook county forest preserve trails directly across the street.

I have been at this barn for almost ten years now. I would never think of going any where else. The management and staff are genuinely concerned for the welfare of the horses here. I know if I have to be gone for a few days, that my horse is in good hands. From lessons to great trails, show opportunities, indoor/outdoor arenas, 6 day a week turnout, friendly people, and caring and knowledgable mangement this barn has it all.

Great Place for Horses and People

This is a wonderful, quiet stable where the people are great and the horses are well cared for. My horse used to be wired and spooky before I moved him to Little Creek. Now he is much more relaxed and content with his surroundings. The horses get great turnout and they are always handled with care. I have also never had a trainer that is as interactive and supportive as the Sue. She is very patient and really knows how much and when to push a student. My horse absolutely loves her and follows her around like a puppy dog! One of the things that I like the most about Little Creek is that the staff there really appreciate the horses. This is not just a job to them where they hustle horses and riders in and out and try to make a quick buck; they really care about and respect the animals. I would highly recommend this stable to anyone who wants to have a friendly place to enhance their riding skills, or to the pleasure rider who simply enjoys being with the horses and the people. There is something for everyone here; you can take hunter/jumper or dressage lessons, you can compete at shows, and you have the trails right across the street! We have a nice mix of disciplines within the barn so there is not the snooty show barn feel in the least. I couldn’t have found a better place for my horse and I!!
